   Traditional Worship is the style of worship that was fairly familiar to Christians for most of the Twentieth century, but it could encompass a great deal of variety.
   
   The elements of worship would generally usually include prayer, music, Bible reading, and a sermon (homily). Other important elements that probably vary according to the occasion - and definitely according to the specific church or denomination - may be litanies, receiving of tithes and offerings, sacraments such as Communion, and a time for response.
   
   Since the time when we began using the terms "Traditional Worship" and "Contemporary Worship," a lot of the focus has been on the style of music, and that is one major area of difference. Even Traditional Worship music could vary hugely from one congregation to another - from plainchant (real or imitation) and classical western music to "high church" grandiose music, gospel-style music, country music, folk music, and world music.
   
   But another area of difference is that Traditional Worship tended or tends to speak more to the participant's mental perceptions and Contemporary Worship tends to speak more to perceptions of the physical senses (sight, sound, scent, and tactile sense).
   
   Many churches that I have personally seen are now trying to use the best elements of each style of worship to provide the most meaningful worship experience possible for the people of their own congregations and communities.

   it  is a catchall meaningless phrase used by churches of men to draw a particular group of their choosing.    A real "church" service is  where the people are gathered to worship and hear from God with no preplanned agenda other than to glorify HIM.   .   If it is led by true Godly men it will be orchestrated fully by the Holy Spirit  and will meet the needs of all in the group.   it will amaze you to see how it fits together as the Spirit leads.  One may have a song ,one  a scripture, another a word of exhortation, another a teaching annd so on or there may be nothing but prayer, or just worship or what ever the Spirit sees the need for.
   It can only take place when the leaders are sold out to the Lord and do not care what people think, the only goal is to glorify the Lord.   It matters not who is used by God only that they are allowed to move by the Spirit.   Those in charge must be so sure of their ability to discern by the Holy Spirit that they do not allow it to get off course , which it seldom if ever will, but it must be known that if something is out of order it will be corrected.    This  will keep out those looking to fulfill an agenda of their own.
      I have never seen the Holy Spirit allowed to fully take over any time there is a "program"   .  I have never seen a person claiming the title of the false leader "pastor"  that could allow the Spirit total freedom to move, they always have to take control and quench the Spirit at some point.
   This would be a SCRIPTURAL service
