What qualities in a Hubber makes you interested in following them?
His/her way of expression mostly. Another thing is when someone decides to follow me it makes me feel obliged at least to give the person the time of day if not become his/her follower too.
GREAT ANSWER! I feel the same way!!!
The quality of their writing, somehing interesting in their profile, comments they make.
Thanks for commenting xstatic I'll never forget that you are my very first fan!
The hub pages is all about fun. If another hubber takes the time and effort to follow me, then I will always be polite and follow them in return. I even have the "Goody5 100% follow back guarantee" written in bold letters on my profile page!
If they have hubs that I find that I am interested, then I follow them. If not, no need to fill up my feed with hubs I will not be interested in.
I have to want to read what they write about & I love it when they have a sense of humour as well . I enjoy hubs with photos that make me want to visit the place or cook their meal etc !
Well, I would say interesting, esp. when I really liked what I've read. I also like friendly and helpful Hubbers. Plus, I usually follow back when someone follows me.
The friendly and helpful people are always interesting to follow. Moreover I like to read quality content, people having interesting profile and common interests, make me follow them. If some hubber follows me, I do follow him/ her. If someone visits my hubs and comments, I do follow them.
Thank you for commenting ChitrangadaSharan! You seem to really care about other hubbers taking the time to read your hub
Number one priority for me is the quality of the writing, followed a close second by the subject matter. I try to follow hubbers who match the criteria and who share a love of certain topics - poetry, drama, nature, travel and sport in particular. I tend not to follow those who overcook the personal when they write.
Why quality of writing first? Well, really good writing can turn the most obscure subject into a must read and is in itself a pleasure to digest, like good food. I tend to wince when I see spelling and grammar mistakes, they totally put me off.

Do you feel it's just plain rude for a hubber not to follow you back?

I've just reached a landmark of 100 followers (yay, me!), which might not seem like much, but it's built up pretty slowly over time, and I've made sure to interact with everyone I'm following regularly (106 now), checking out new hubs, etc. It made me consider an interesting question:How do...

What makes you choose to follow another hubber?I have come across quite a few members on here who are following hundreds of other hubbers. I can only speak for myself, but I barely have enough time to write my own hubs, let alone time to read every hub that is published by all of the people that I...
