   Space missions-is it wastage of money? no benefit for mankind-spin offs technologies.
   
   Indian space agency celebrated 100th rocket launch, NASA's successful Mars probe.The critique say that this is wastage of funds, better utilize for human development.Usually they have jargon ,big boys and their toys, duel use technologies for military applications ,Clock can not be turned back.
   Our everyday life can not afford to work without satellite communication, Internet.
   There are many spin-offs from space missions,many technologies were transferred to industry, Indian doctors demonstrates live operations to viewers, tele medicine advice via satellite
   Space missions are beneficial.

   Just consider all of the innovations that were created by a space program directly: satellites, cell phones, memory foam, super glue, photovoltaic cells (solar panels), vacuum cleaners, Firefighter breathing equipment, much of the green living technology, freeze dried meals, modern baby food, lasers used in many operations including heart surgery, life support, LED lighting and MANY more (The Independent, UK Magazine). I would say that the innovation and "human development" created by the modern space programs are more advanced than ones that may have been created in a world without space travel. A possible future for our space programs now include terraforming, which will allow us to create an atmosphere on an alien planet and possibly inhabit it (at the very least farm and cultivate it). Is it expensive, absolutely. Is it a waste, definitely not.

   I don't believe it's a waste when we consider all the helpful technology we enjoy, but my only concern is that our culture is not only unimaginably intertwined with technology, but that technology is changing our perception of morality. Ultimately, technology is a tool for good that can be abused, but has also made life better for those who have it.
   
   More than all that, it is necessary for the survival of any nation to branch out and explore new opportunities, whether it is space and science or art or creating a stable enough economy to aid the less fortunate, or advancing the medical field or growing into a more powerful economy and so on. No business or person can prosper if they do not grow in some way, and the same is true for America. This is one reason space operations are natural and necessary.

   I don't view it as a waste. We are learning about the world around us. Because of space missions we have satalites, internet, computers, etc.

   The space program is beneficial and still has to b e regulated in its developing of the research programs.It is extremely expensive and at times human needs require more earthly attention than that of space exploration. It is dependent upon our needs at the time and how we utilize the appropriate money available and not do any one thing to excess, as times so call for the appropriate attention given to each need. There are other needs such as exploring inner space(oceans and the benefits that it affords).Mankind will forever be attracted to solving mysteries and answers to the most extreme sources available, such as that of space exploration. Some day our very survival may depend upon what we find in space as a sanctuary, perhaps, for the survival of our species.
