A maryann pan pound cake with lemon curd, topped with an assortment of berries (cut strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and blackberries) and dusted with confectioners sugar.  This recipe is sort of close, but the mixed berries and confectioner's sugar also makes for a beautiful presentation.

I love Swiss Muesli with fruit! I have published a hub about it. Invented by Bircher in Switzerland the early part of the last century, it was said to heal his indigent patients. I love it sprinkled with ground flax seed. Now I know what I'm going to make for breakfast tomorrow! :   )

A good ole Louisiana banana pudding! For a quick one: Use two boxes of instant French vanilla pudding, and prepare as directed. Add 2 cups of whipped topping, six  large sliced bananas, and about 3 cups of vanilla wafers. Mix well, cover attractively with a few (10-15) vanilla wafers.Maybe a few maraschino cherries for color. Chill 3 hours. Yummy.

Pinapple salad.  Lettuce any kind that you like and pinapple and mayonaise.   Very simple and very good.

Wow....haven't thought of that in years.  My Mom used to serve us that salad when I was a kid.  Another budget-friendly trick she used.  Thanks for stirring the memory.

Creamy Coconut Greek Yogurt topped with FRESH Blueberries and Sliced Almonds!  Super simple and yet DELICIOUS.  It's my favorite breakfast and/or late night snack.

Of course I've never turned down a little seasonal fresh fruit tossed with squeezed lemons and (a little sugar, if needed) a sprinkling of poppy seeds, either.   My nephew calls it lemonade fruit salad.  Really refreshing on a hot day!  smile

Two of my favorites are dessert recipes that pair well w/ roast meats: baked apples and poached pears in red wine sauce w/ mascarpone cheese. I also like mango& pineapple salsa w/ grilled fish.

Pears topped with dark chocolate sauce in Poire Belle Helene a French "clafoutis"-type of desert eaten hot or cold. It is made of eggs, flour, milk, fruits and sugar. The traditional clafoutis is baked with seedless cherries, but this is one variant of the cake with pears. ^^

My Mom's recipe for Peach Cobbler made with fresh peaches.  It was a tradition in our family.  When the peaches were in season, we would go peach picking together.  Afterwards, we would spend hours canning and freezing.  When all the work was done, Mom would pop a cobbler in the oven while Dad made home-made peach ice-cream in the old hand-cranked ice-cream churn.  Yum!  That cold, cold, peach ice-cream would hit that right-from -the-oven hot cobbler and I could gain five pounds just thinking about. It was a happy time in our family and no one felt guilty because it only happened once a year when the peaches were in.  The cobbler pastry was buttery goodness with just the right about of juice and loaded with peaches.  Oh, and we only used the yellow peaches for cobblers.  The white ones got frozen.

My most favorite recipe that included fruit is fruitcake using dry and organic fruits. I also liked strawberry jam, apple pie and fresh fruit smoothies.

I love salad meals that include fruit. My favorite one is a base of mixed greens with cucumber, pineapple, pecans and Gouda cheese. Absolutely delicious!! I´ve written a hub about it too, there you´ll find the exact recipe.
