   If you are a confidence trickster it is mandatory. Otherwise looking good helps you get away with a LOT of things.

   I don't think looking good or dressing well has anything to do with a person acting badly. I'm sure you've heard the old cliche' "You can dress him up, but you can't take him anywhere." Just look at all of the celebrities lately who have been arrested for drunken driving, assault, and trashing hotel rooms. No matter how good they looked, they still appeared in handcuffs, had a mugshot and went before a judge.

   If you act badly or poorly it does not matter what you look like on the outside. You can be the most beautiful person physically but as soon as you turn on the poor behaviour you become the ugliest person in the world. Look at someone who is screaming at another human being or is making faces etc. and see the contortions of their physical being, that is also going on inside them. Beauty is far more than skin deep and we would all do well to remember that.

   If the person acting badly wanted to look good then looking good is important to them.  While at the beach I saw some good looking men and women in a group.  They looked like they spent a lot of time on their bodies but they did not seem to concerned about their health.  So I am assuming the way they looked was important to them.  However they were acting badly and bothering the people around them.  I thought the women were attractive until I saw how they were behaving.
   
   If I was acting badly then looking good would not be important to me in that moment.  Looking good is based on your body, your clothes and your actions.  At least that is how I judge a person.

   I agree 100% with Shawn May Scott - acting badly cancels out any good looks/class you may appear to have. It kills any admiration or respect you felt before you saw the bad behavior.
   
   So, in direct answer to your question: NO, looking good is not important if you act badly!
   
   Good behavior will win over looking good, in the end, every time!

   The answer is no of course but I think good looking people gets more attention even if they act badly. Practically it happens that nobody cares for the bad acts as far as the person has good looks. In reality it happens.

   I strongly prefer fessing up if I act badly. That's the first step in becoming good.
   
   I have no interest in appearing to be anything I'm not. An I'm far from perfect.
   
   Just yesterday a close friend did an amazing thing. He realized he'd made a big mistake, and three other people were involved. He had gone to work on a project that just would not fit into his life, due to prior commitments.
   
   He took a day to look at his mistake and decide the course of action that was truest to him. He then apologized and told everyone of his new decision. All three people deeply respected him, even though he had let each one of them down, and two were very disappointed about the consequences of his dropping the project he thought he could start.
   
   So, I encourage total honesty, even when we act badly. From that, we build integrity and strong relationships.

   No, in that the good looks will make the ultimate inevitable disillusionment that much worse.
   
   Doubly no, in that hard as it is to change behavior, changing looks is usually some combination of harder *and* less effective.

    If you act badly it doesn't matter how good you look because that is one of the biggest turn offs ever.  Acting badly makes you ugly no matter how good you think you look.  Not you personally but you know what I'm saying.

    No, looking good is not important if you act badly. The way a person dresses has nothing to do with the behavior, although people can use their manner of dress to deceive others into believing they are better than they truly are.
    
    On the other hand, looking good may soften the impact of the bad behavior. Here is why I say that - Someone like me, who is fascinated by clothes would be busy looking at the style, the fabric, the accessories, the designer - basically, the overall ensemble. I am more inclined to miss the bad behavior if they are dressed to the nines. I don't dismiss bad behavior, but I surely don't pay much attention to it when someone is dressed sharply.

    What? This sentence has TERRIBLE syntax, so I'll just wing the answer...No. Looking good (and by "good" I assume you mean "dressed well, and not sloppily made up") is only important in beginning dating, acting, and modeling. I doubt a bank robber needs to look like Jason Statham to accomplish the deed.

    If you're talking about actual actors, then looking good and acting badly seems to work fine for a lot of them, like Nicole Kidman, Kristen Stewart and Ashton Kucher!
