   Political Hubpages
   
   I know different topics on hubpages are more popular than others so I'm wondering if anyone has had any success writing with weighty world political subjects? I enjoy writing them but I don't think this is a subject to gain an audience.

   To be honest, I like political hubs that present facts and use critical thinking. I don't want to read an ersatz of the opinion of the media. I personally prefer international politics.

   I don't know if this is quite what you mean, but I have a hub on capitalism vs. socialism that gets about 6 - 10 views a day from search and another on the reasoning behind the SCOTUS ruling on the healthcare bill. I'd say specific hubs vary depending on how broad the topic you choose is.

   I actually think that writing a political hub would be a great idea.  I have not written one myself, because that's not really my niche, however, my husband is really into politics and is on the internet everyday reading articles written by independent/freelance writers.  If that topic is your thing, I say, go with it!  There is a huge audience out there for it!

   Like Moxaxam41, i like political hubs that present the facts and include critical thinking, objectively presenting both sides of the issues. That way the reader gets to decide what they believe about the issue. They tend to open up debates, which I also like to listen to. If the issues are something that I need information on to make a decision prior to an election, I am really interested. If they are well written and present me with enough facts on both sides of the issue, these types of stories help me make up my mind.
   
   I would love to see what you write in this area.

   I tend to read short, to the point hubs because I am so busy.  If it is political, and a subject that interests me, and is short, I will read it.  I hate long rants.

   My hubpages has a views of 100+ daily, it enlightens me but the earning is so small.
