Pinterest not blocking my pins any longer.  Has anyone else checked their pinning ability?

I was just checking my pinterest pins and found that they are now working again.  Just wondering if anyone else has checked theirs. I wanted everyone to know that apparently we are no longer being blocked from Pinterest.

I didn't know we had been blocked! I did notice that one of my hubs which, according to the hub social media stats, has been pinned loads of times, yesterday received about 10% of the views it normally gets. Thankfully, todays views are back up to near normal levels. I guess this supports what you are saying.

Do you have any idea why we were blocked?

I did have the problem with a new hub that I created and wanted to share it on Pintrest.  But then when I checked yesterday, it was gone and was able to use it again.  Everything seemed to be intact.  Thanks for asking.

This issue was resolved by the awesome HP staff who talked to Pinterests staff and got HubPages unblocked.  Unfortunately, some hubbers are abusing the system and only doing self-promotion so there were spam complaints.  Now HP and Pinterest will be working on a joint solution that prevents spamming without punishing Hubbers who are not guilty of it.  There is a huge discussion about this on the forums.

Thank you ChristinS for answering so quickly.  You definately answered my question and more.  Glad to hear the HP staff is on top of the problem.  I know they really try to do what they can for us.

They blocked mine just yesterday when I tried to put in a pic of my "Domestic Violence", which was a picture I drew of a beaten woman's face.  Their reason was something about nudity?  She's not naked.  Look on my profile.  I featured that story.  Maybe I'll try again.  But I won't worry about it.  Thanks for asking your question.

Pinterest had blocked my hubpages but my blogspot was working fine. They were showing that my hubpages were spam and hence wont let anyone go to hubpages. So i wrote to them about it and in couple of hours they were working fine.

The ban was lifted yesterday through the intervention of HubPages Team leaders. It's all explained on the respective forum. The problem was that some subdomains were considered spammers, and Pinterest didn't make a difference between a subdomain on Hubpages and the main Hubpages page, so we all got banned. There is an agreement to work out a better system so that this won't happen in the future.
Still it's a good warning to QUIT SPAMMING! The guilty few could affect the entire HP community.

Haven't used Pinterest a lot. But, I have been hearing numerous complaints about them blocking and the recent one I've heard on the forums was with one hubber where she had her image blocked from her hubs, where you add photos to help describe your work, and she a major fit with it.

Yes. it is all good.  I emailed asking about it  and pinterest responded saying it had been an error.

Thanks to hubpages team, pinterest has lifted the ban and we can now resume pinning again. Thanks to our team of leaders!  I understand that we must be careful not to go overboard as that leads to spamming.

Mine just unblocked about five minutes ago. I don't pin many things anymore, just limiting it to crafts from now on, but I tried to pin someone else's hub and it wouldn't let me. Working now though!

Yes, my Pin button is working good now.  I swore I wasn't going to Pin anything else for fear I'd be a "spammer" , but I read a recipe this AM that was SO good, I just had to Pin it!
I intend to be more selective in Pinning from now now, though.

Hubpages team leaders did it again!  Always helping, always looking out for our best interest.  I guess I was just lucky because I never had any of my Pins blocked.  Glad to know this has been settled.  Thanks Joanveronica for letting us know!
