What is the criterion for having ads disabled?
I had ads disabled on my latest poem because I wrote " Her bosom is waiting, and wanting to be sucked." However, I found this hub in which images show children actually breast feeding, and the ads are not disabled. Heres the hub: http://supernour.hubpages.com/hub/Breas … rl_2223158
Should I erase the the line in the poem, and insert a picture of myself suckling to get the ads turned back on my hub? Should I write "Her bosom is aching to be suckled" instead? I'm willing to do both...
Suckled might work. I keep having stuff disabled for things I think are absurd, like my hub on how to protect children from predators. But anyway... anything that describes any kind of sex act (including that of manually stimulating oneself as referenced in a clinical manner) can get it disabled and/or unpublished. Repeated instances can get a person banned.
Having said that, the disabled ads are only the Google ads. You can still sell Amazon products and Ebay.
There are Amazon products for adults who suckle? Intriguing...
I think I will rephrase with chicken breast and suckling pig. Google Adsense should go off the charts with that one...
Augustine, I sub love-making for s*x, even sub regardless of how the word is meant in a sentence. Suppose we have to self censor our writings now but that is perplexing why your ads were disabled but the b****t feeding pics weren't.
Tell me about it. Babies are allowed to ravage nipples in pictures. However, I mention doing the same, and I'm spoken to like Caligula.
Mmm, I'm not sure. But I didn't write a hub about that, so they shouldn't have treated me like him. I have lusted after other peoples sisters. That may have done it...
Does it every time, l**ting after sisters. Got to come by soon and see what yer up to. Sure hope the funky album collections are still extant on here. Major jelly bellies.

Do I need to have ads on in my hubs to qualify them to be chosen such as Hub of the Day? I know I was told that had nothing to do with scores on hubs but just wondered if they had to be open to ads for that? Thanks.

Has anyone had ads disabled by HP on a hub clearly not "sensitive?"I just published another in a series of flash fiction stories, only to see the symbol for "Ads Disabled." When I checked the HP administration's information about why ads may be disabled (containing...

Now don't get me wrong, I totally love writing on Hubpages and being a part of the Hubbing community, but I have lost a little heart recently when one hub of mine on "How to Improve Male Fertility" had the ads disabled based on automatic filters. This problem I reported in order to have...

Heads up to those applying for an AdSense account! After publishing about 10 hubs I applied for an AdSense Account and was declined due to the standard lack of content. After publishing 16 hubs, I reapplied and was hit with with the following warning as I was about to leave the HP site...
