If you adopt a child, do you prefer a beautiful child or a poor looking or a ill healthy child?.
As an adoptee I find this question very unsettling. When parents give birth to a child they have to grow and experience a whole spectrum that is out of their control. From highly healthy to very ill and in the NICU the biological parents have no other choice than to incorporate and manage their new born in their life regardless of how healthy and ill the child may be.
Why than when a child as a match to an adopting couple that they get to choose if they want that child 'made to their order.' If their is a match before the child is born does the adopting couple have the right to walk away if the child is ill or unhealthy?
Children are not vending machine choices.
I prefer a child. That simple. All children are miracles and gifts. The beauty, health, illness are aspects of the babe but they are not the baby's soul and who they ultimately are.
The true beauty is in the parents who can see and know this.
dear CarlySullens,
I agree with you. All children are miracles and gifts. Thanks for your love towards children and also for your answer.
I would love to be able to have more children. All children are beautiful and special.

I believe so. I believe sexual orientation has nothing to do with one's ability to be a good parent (or a bad one). I have a video for you to watch.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSQQK2Vuf9QTell me what you think. If you are for it, why?IF you are against it, why?
