Why are introverted girls/women so underestimated by boys/men?    It seems that boys/men seem to

find extroverted girls/women more exciting, quicker, accessible, and fun to be with than their introverted counterparts.   In other words, many boys/men find introverted girls/women to be total duds and total turn offs.   There is a saying that still waters run deep.

Extroverted people in general are perceived to (fun)! Wallflowers are thought to be boring. Even introverted people don't choose to be around other introverted people. Just as moths are drawn to the light people want to be around those whose personality and charisma light up a room.
The reason why waters are "still" is because no one wants to play in them. No one notices the invisible people. Even if one shys away from being the "center of attention" they should have the confidence to talk to people they want to get to know. Extending your hand and saying, "Hello my name is....etc" shouldn't be a "mission impossible" undertaking. :-)

Extroverts are so out there, they are just on the surface but introverts have something much more deeper than meets the eye.    Extroverts are 'what you see, is what you get" while introverts are like, hmmmm, what is lurking beneath that iciness?

Not all extroverts are superficial and not all introverts are smoldering bits of passion. In all honesty most men approach women they're (physically attracted) to. If a guy thinks a girl/woman is "hot" he'll talk to her even if she is quiet. :-)

Being the archetype of introverts myself, I can only dream of meeting introverted women and since only about 1 in 4 of us is introverted, the odds are not so good. I agree extroverts can be a lot of fun but it's too bad you just can't hit the mute button sometimes lol. So yes, still waters run deep

Many extroverts are not simply "what you see is what you get." Many are extroverted because they lack confidence, not because they have an abundance of it. For example, many comedians who people think are just happy and fun actually have self esteem issues, depression and substance abuse problems. Being extroverted can be a way of dealing with deeper problems. So just because someone is extroverted does not mean that there are much deeper things going on inside them.
