Why can't we stop talking about Dec. 21, 2012?

Nothing is going to happen. Why do you care.

Very few people I know talk about the so-called Mayan prediction that the world will end on 12/21/2012.  I think someone came up with what they thought was a  "profound enlightenment" and started a panic, just like the 2000 scare that all computers would crash when the year changed from a 19 to a 20.

Just because our yearly calendars end on 12/31 each year does not mean that the world will end, only a period of time will end then there is a new beginning.

    So, what's stopping you?

I wouldn't say "nothing" is going to happen. For most, it'll be life as usual. That's something.

For some, it might be a perfect time to make a statement. Say the Rockefellers want to do some more fear mongering and create another 9/11. Heck, the first one was pretty successful. Bush, Cheney and their thugs cleaned up pretty good on that deal.

For the Mayans, it is merely the turning of the odometer -- 99,999.99 to 100,000.00. Nothing more. Everything else is hype.

Because people keep asking about it of course.

Something will happen, in the same way you think nothing will happen.

Thinking about something does not necessarily mean it's going to happen just as it might not happen.

There are those that are preoccupied with thinking that nothing is going to happen just as those that think something will happen.

There is a distinction between the end of a calender cycle and the end of the world, just as there is a distinction between fact and myth.

The degree of caring would be proportional to what people put their sense of security in.

In order to increase a sense of security leading up to Dec. 21, 2012, please follow this link for something that is much more concerning than you may know.
