Is it a good idea to delete hubs that are not getting traffic?

I would say no, because I have had several of my hubs get almost no traffic for a few months, and then pick up quite a bit of daily traffic from Google.

My suggestion would be to have a look at any hubs that are doing poorly, and see if you can't do some editing to improve them. Then perhaps they will pick up some traffic from search engines.

Do you think changing the title is helpful?  I've done that before and even the picture and it seemed to affect traffic.

Yes, sometimes just changing the title can turn a hub around. Other times, it takes a bit more. I will sometimes look at what search terms people are using to get to my hub, and see if I can't use the most popular ones in the title.

Rather than delete the hub, which you have already placed a great deal of time, energy and thought into, how about if you unpublish it for a while, then revise it or update it. Give it a couple of tweaks here and there, and republish it.
    That's my opinion, anyway.

I wouldn't delete these hubs if they were mine. It's your hard work and time that went into creating these hubs, therefore it's solely your decision on what to do here. If you delete them, then nobody else will ever have a chance to read them.

I will never delete my hubs only because they aren't giving me good traffic unless I have hundreds of hubs already published.

Negative, it is good idea to use these articles to learn how to make them better.

See Deborah Demanders comment, use this article as a learning experience on editing, updating and making it more readable.

Also create some back links to it, publicize it, add some photos, be creative with the layout, add some pertinent amazon, ebay capsules, maybe a poll or the map if it is relevant.

Have some fun with it you have nothing to lose!

I agree with some of the others that commented here. You spent a lot of time and energy writing  - to throw that away would be a shame. Every once-and-a-while, update and republish those idle hubs. A good time to do this is when you are having writers block, are too busy to write a hub from scratch or just need a break from writing. A few minutes tuning-up an old Hub is a quick way to get new material out there.
