I am currently writing a hub and it is showing page views. Why is this when it is not yet published?

Every time I start to write a hub it begins showing page views in my stats. Surely people can only see it when it is published.

Great question. I have noticed that once or twice. Another phenomena is I have a hub with a status of 'unpublished,' of which receives views daily of at least one or near to. A question to answer the question is could that be a non-human viewing the hub? I really don't think so. Another question is who or whom has privileges to view an unpublished hub albeit complete or not. My knowledge base says only presumptions could be made.

    A) Hub Team
    B) Extended Hub Team, e.g. Former apprentices, present apprentices, past elite, and etc.
    C) ????

Yet, although I have not made any pudding of late, I have discovered only help when this occurs. Awareness is key to subtle ques meant to offer hints of improvement or betterment of the product. However, that is only speculation.

How is the weather? It is overcast here in San Diego. Near to 11am I am just now getting a cup of coffee.

Those are your own views, while you're in the process of writing and editing the piece.

I did wonder. Seems strange this should be as we don't need to know this.

Yes, they are your own views. I wouldn't worry about it, it can't hurt to already have views on a page (in Google's eyes).

If you've been working on this hub for awhile, then it's most likely showing your own views each time you click on it to work on it.
