In late 40s or early 50s, a woman goes through menopause and it signals the end of the fertile phase of a woman's life. Where the end of fertility is traditionally indicated by the permanent stopping of monthly menstruations.
The miracle is that God made her fertile so that she was able to conceive.

When told by the Lord that his 90-year-old wife Sarah will bear a son, Abraham fell face-down; he laughed. What’s funny in that to make Abraham fall down laughing?

I think he may have been laughing out of joy. What do you think?

I am astonished (not amused) that Sarah would take the Almighty lightly.

It boggles my mind that some of these Old Testament characters acted the way they did toward God.

Case in point: I cannot believe Jonah tried to run from the Almighty...as if He could hide from Him. Then again, I cannot believe that Adam and Eve thought they could hide from our Heavenly Father in the Garden (after they sinned). In the same likeness, I cannot believe that Sarah could even question the Almighty's word and act as if He could not do what He said He would do.

Isaac was conceived miraculously to a barren mother and a very aged father. We Muslims believe in his miracle birth. It seems as if God was preparing people to an other great miracle,Jesus( peace be upon him )s miracle birth without  father.

Christ Yeshua (Jesus) did have a father as conveyed in Holy Scripture. Mary (His mother) was visited by the Holy Spirit who fathered Christ Yeshua.

Firstly, his name is not Yeshua. He is called in Aramaic  Isa.Jesus is created without father. Is it hard for you to accept that?Adam was created without mother and father but you accepted the story.

Being as this is ReligionPages, I can't tell if some of the comments here are serious or facetious.
