   Can anyone reference any reading material about Essene bloodline?
   
   There are scholars out there that believe Jesus really came from the bloodline of the Essene People.  I am looking for research that supports the Essene bloodline theory.  Know of any such publications or any books on the Biblical Jesus' bloodline?

      Keep following this post and we both will know.  LOL. Reading a book published in the 80s called The Gods of Eden, by William Bramley.  He studied and put together a theory that extraterrestriasl are responsible for our beliefs & destruction.

   The Essenes were a Jewish religious sect, not a bloodline.  A Jewish historian in the time of ancient Rome, Flavius Josephus, wrote about them in detail. The Essenes had communities similar to monasteries and also had lay members.
   
   As best i am aware, that Jesus was raised an Essene is plausible but unproven speculation.
   
   In the books about Jesus based on the Edgar Cayce readings, the parents and other close relations of Jesus were Essenes, including John the Baptist.  Bear in mind, though, that Cayce's information came from psychic, not historical, sources. Cayce said that the Essene sect developed into the Catholic church.
   
   A self-described scholar named Edmond Bordeaux Szekely published some texts, such as "The Essene Gospel of Peace," that he claimed he translated from documents he discovered in the Vatican library. However, evidence is lacking that this story is true, so Szekely may have made it all up. In these texts, Jesus is described as a health nut who performed miracle cures by ordering fresh air, showering, fasts, and enemas.
   
   Some scholars have speculated that the Qumran community described in the Dead Sea Scrolls were Essenes or a similar sect. I don't know how that argument has gone.
   
   The Roman writer Pliny the Elder also mentioned the Essenes.

   The Essenes come from at least three blood lines: Cohen, Zadokite, and Levite. This article from Wikipedia offers many links to books and authors on the subject.

      So I am learning .....there is even a group today you teach  and practice the same as Jesus did from his schooling of the same sect....according to some scrolls found.  ah...will the truth ever be known?

   The Cohenim,  and Levites are all the same blood line with Cohenim being specific to that part of the Levitical tribe that was descended from Aaron, and the Zadokites being followers of a particular high priest, Zadok (From 2nd Century BC, who with his compatriot Boethus preached a fundamental Torahitic Judaism which contrasted sharply with the Pharasaic and Hasidic versions of Judaism.  As for the Essene's, they would appear to have been adherents to the Zadokite, Boethian teachings, had a community setup "the Way" that preceeded Christianity by one and a half centuries, and practiced a monastic lifestyle that had some being celibate while others it would appear could marry.  Much can be gleaned about them from the Dead Sea Scrolls.

      What I have learned so far is the Essene are mentioned in the Dead Sea Scrolls, but there are other document recovered that were actually written by the Essene themselves.  They honored the marriage but some with special duties were no allowed that.

   The main elements of the theory are that:
   Jesus had a child, probably a daughter, with Mary Magdalene, with whom he was married.
   The descendants of this child became the Merovingian kings of France.
   The Church has suppressed the truth about Mary Magdalene and the Jesus bloodline for 2000 years. This is principally because they fear the power of the sacred feminine, which they have demonized as Satanic.
   A secret order protects these royal claimants because they may be the literal descendants of Jesus and his wife, Mary Magdalene, or, at the very least, of King David and the High Priest Aaron.
   
   This secret society known as Priory of Sion has a long and illustrious history dating back to the First Crusade starting with the creation of the Knights Templar as its military and financial front.
   
   
   
   The Priory is led by a Grand Master or Nautonnier. It is devoted to returning the Merovingian dynasty, that ruled the Frankish kingdom from 447 to 751 AD, to the thrones of Europe and Jerusalem.
   
   The Roman Catholic Church tried to kill off all remnants of this dynasty and their guardians, the Cathars and the Templars, during the Inquisition, in order to maintain power through the apostolic succession of Peter instead of the hereditary succession of Mary Magdalene.
   
   A variation on the theory is that instead of dying on the cross, Jesus fled to Kashmir where he died in old age, returning to Srinagar where he had originally been influenced by Buddhist teachings.
   
   This theory is lent credence by close comparisons of Jesus' sayings in the Gnostic Gospel of St Thomas, which are seen by some as closely paralleling classical Buddhist Sutras.
   
   The theory also has parallels with other "disciple flight to distant lands" stories, such as the journey of Joseph of Arimathea to England after the death of Jesus taking with him a piece of thorn from the Crown of Thorns, which he later planted in Glastonbury.
   
   I do not agree with this, this is the theory.

      I do not always agree with what I read either, however it all is fascinating.  What I read lately is that Jesus and Mary M had a son...funny how statements of history often differ.  Doubt we will ever know.
