How accurate are the statistics on my hubs?

I'm afraid to say that my hubs aren't too popular.  My best hub receives about 50-80 hits a day.  I woke up this morning to see that one hub has received 400+ hits in one day.  It's a hub I just published a month ago.  All of the hits are coming from search.yahoo.com.  Is this normal?  I'm not trying to brag, but it seems very unusual.  So, I take that stat very lightly.

The stats are pretty accurate. It's possible that something happened that made a lot people search for your hub.

I am not sure if this is accurate, but if it is, congrats! I don't really trust the hubpages statistics after a few weeks ago they were very buggy.

So if you don't already have Google Analytics and Webmaster Tools set up, I would recommend you do it. It takes a little time to get them both up and going but the information they provide is invaluable.

If you have Google Analytics, it will confirm if this traffic is accurate, and even why it is coming, such as what keywords people are using etc.

That's what I need to do, go through Analytics.  I read about it but didn't think it would matter.  This proves otherwise.  Thanks for the answer.

Don't feel bad. Mine don't get a lot of hits, either.

Congrats my friend., Getting 400 hits for a hub in one day is wonderful and that means your hub earning increases too. Must have been due to the right keywords you used in the article that a lot of people are searching for. It is normal to have 50-80 hits a day and all of a sudden you get 400 from no where. My normal hits were 70-80 hits er day. Today, i got 443 hits.
