Why can't I write a hub on weight loss?

i wrote a hub on how to lose weight with water, this was based on research and some interesting facts, but when I submitted fr publishing it said that the hub will be unpublished because it has over promotional matter like weight loss. So does that mean I cannot write on weight loss topics? My 1 hour of hard work went in vain, please someone help me out

Well, if weight loss isn't one of the most over done topics on the web, then I don't know what is.

You'd have to publish the most spectacular weigh loss hub of the year for it to do you any good, and think about it for a moment.....you couldn't possibly with an hour's work have provided anything not already seen somewhere on the web.

I'm not knocking you, I'm telling you the truth here....if you want to spend time well on Hubpages, don't write about something so done and done over tens of millions of times as weight loss.

Well I'm guessing that the subject of your hub triggered an automatic response by HubPages.  It might be that this can happen in error, and is used as a precaution because most weight-loss hubs are trying to sell something.

It's probably best to contact HubPages to check whether you are able to publish this at all.  That would be the most reliable way to find out what's going on, and what you can and can't do.

The hub I wrote on weight loss recently was actually featured, I believe because of the way I did it.  I ate less and exercised more.  It also chronicles my motivation which was type 2 diabetes after age 50.  Fat, Fifty, with a Family History of Diabetes has gotten some decent numbers from the Hub Pages staff but not much reader response/comments.  I'm guessing here but I believe it's because it's not really what people want to hear.

Sorry that you wasted 1 hour of your life researching and writing about how to lose weight with water, lol. Honestly, even if you did manage to publish it, it would never see the light of day in search engines.  I don't know how long you have been using the Internet, but there are already about 1,918,837,647,663,473,628,738,279 articles on losing weight.

Did you contain links to external articles in your hubs?  Usually hubpages will consider that over promotional.  I guess it might also have to do with how many products you list on the ebay and affiliate sites.  I don't care if there are billions of articles on weight loss, because what works for one person may not work for another.  Also did you have this article published on another site-even on a blog.  From what I understand Hub Pages-though in the past they allowed this-will delette duplicate articles.
