If you were able to eat one type of food every day for the rest of your life, what food would it be?

Be specific, not like fruits or vegetables, but individually like bananas, broccoli, tootsie rolls, steaks, etc.

Fish or chicken.  I'm slightly torn between the two though.  There are so many ways to make them that you wouldn't get too bored... but each have their own special ways so I'm not sure if I could give up BBQ or Teriyaki Chicken for Teriyaki Salmon or Lemon Pepper Tilapia.

Can't I just say both??  Haha, great question!

Sure, you can say both, it would be hard for me to decide between the two, as well.  Teriyaki Salmon is delicious and I love chicken and the many ways to prepare it, too!  Thanks for commenting!

OMGee this is a tough one. I'm going to go with bananas, they are sweet filling and can be made into something like ice cream!

Probably cheeseburgers...of course, if I ate them every day for the rest of my life, then the "rest of my life" probably wouldn't be that long... but dammit, I love cheeseburgers!!

HaHaHa!!  Cheeseburgers would surely be my son's choice as well....for the sake of the question, we'll go with Sophia Le-Anne's "no consequences type thing" in this case....  smile

Milk. I love milk plus it has vitamin D which I am low in. You can drink it alone, use it for in cereals, and bake with it. Got to have milk!

Great answer, mvillecat!   I love milk (and cream!), as well.  If we didn't have milk, we would not have butter and that would be AWFUL!!  smile

I think that one food would have to be Dark Chocolate Bark with Carmelized Nuts and Sea Salt. I also like to add dried berries--the combination of silky bitter chocolate, chewy & sweet dried fruit and crunchy nuts is irresistable. Of course, in real life I'd eventually get tired of eating sweets all the time but it is fun to dream. :  )

Yum!  That chocolate bark sounds delicious... chocolate is always a hard one to beat, especially with nuts and fruit!!  Thanks for the comment!

I think even if I were able to eat one specific favorite food every day forever, I would get sick and tired of that one same food every day and would eventually starve to death because I would stop eating it.

On the other hand if I could choose all the "vegetables" that I wanted, it wouldn't be a problem.

I must agree with you, but this is only for fun...thank goodness we would not  ever have to do that - there are soooo many great foods - Vegetables are awesome in so many ways...great choice!
