How long do you think you will live?
I've done those tests and one said 85 years, the other 93. So I have a good 25-30 years. I think the results are mainly because I don't smoke.
I am 23 and have already been diagnosed with cancer. If I base it purely off of that I would say maybe 70 but I am a very healthy eater, constantly watching what I take in so I'll say about 85. If I live longer than that I will count it as a pure grace of God.
Physically speaking, I expect to live with this body until it is 97, perhaps longer. That gives me another 32 years -- time enough to get more of my intended books written and published.
In a larger sense, knowing that I am an immortal being with a long past and unlimited future, I will live forever. So will we all live other lifetimes. Although my viewpoint on this may be different than most other people, it is true for me. I've always believed/known about this, since I was a small boy who never forgot.
I don't know and I don't care much. Everybody and everything lives and dies. However long your life is, that's your life. When we talk of Alexander the Great or Napoleon Bonaparte who asks or even cares how old they were? Alexander died at 33, Napoleon died at 52. Even forests, bridges and mountains are not eternal. I've written a hub that touches on this subject, but since presently I am 77 I don't expect to be around a whole lot longer. Ask me again tomorrow (if I'm still around.)
I like your attitute William about not caring much as to how long you expect to live. My dad lived a good 103 years and was productive and up and about till the time he died. This longivity thing is genetic, so I expect to be around a long time.
Just as long as I am supposed too according to God's plan. I don't think about it much. I lost my son when he was 28 years old - every day is a gift and nothing is guaranteed so enjoy every minute you are given.
I really don't know and have no idea, infact no body can have an idea or guess about it because it's completely the matter of GOD. Nobody knows, when to die. I have seen so many youngers and teenagers to die.
To be honest, I don't really see the point to this question. It's not that it is a bad question, but that it is ultimately a question with no answer. I'm young right now and I plan to try to eat healthy and stay active so I can live to a ripe old age, but there are too many factors in life that could cut my normal lifespan down. Just enjoy each and every day and try not to focus on the doom and gloom of death. That's all any of us can ever do anyway.
I've got a list of things I want to do in my next decade (my 60's) - plus a list for my 70's, 80's and 90's. I intend to be fit and active at 100 and beyond. I don't care what experts say about age...I'm as fit and agile as I was in my thirties and i haven't reached anywhere near my potential. I find as much to be excited about in life as when I was a boy, and I still hold the same dreams and sense of wonder. I feel no pressure to hurry things up so I get to do them before I die, and I don't have any retirement plans or arrangements. If I pop off sooner than later, then I can't do anything to change it... but I believe it only takes one person to live to 130 and then, like the four-minute-mile, more people will be able to do it.
Oh....and I'm being serious too...130, maybe longer.
I think I will love as long as I am destined to; when my purpose has been complete, so has my time become on this Earth. I think that I cannot guess only because life is too unpredictable for me so I think I will live at least until I am eighty.
It's hard to say.
I wish I could live up to my 90s but with all the smoking going around my house and how my parents rarely let me go outside I say at least to my 70s
