   Super strength. My dad is strong yet appears overweight. But most of him is hidden muscle.

   Brainwashing.  I swear that man could sell deer meat to a vegetarian.  He is so gifted at clarifying something to you and then bringing you over to his side of the argument.  That is how I became a pitcher in little league.

   It would be hard to pick just one! He climbs trees in his 70's so that would make him a super climber, he built and continues to build (remodel) his house so he would also be a super architect,  he's positive, hardworking, and never depressed so that would also make him super optimistic... to sum it all up he is simply my SUPERDAD!

   The father of my kids is a hero in my kids eyes for fighting for this country being a soldier.my father would have spread the love power so the world would be a better place because he is a loving person and a loving dad!!

   Is drinking beer a super power? jk.  I guess his would be social skills, he is charming to most people and makes friends easily.

   His special power would be coming back from the dead to give good advice, because that's what he did.
   I've written about this, but in a nutshell:
   In August of 1999, my wife and I lived off grid in a small cabin in a high mountain valley near Craig, Montana.  Dad had died 2 years earlier, in July of 1997.
   We were hit with a wildfire that completely surrounded our location.  When I first saw the flames, I went out to fight the fire with the only shovel we had.  Pam was frozen in terror, sitting on the couch, certain we (and our 3 cats) were all going to die.
   She sensed a presence, looked up, saw Dad standing there.  "You are afraid?"  He asked. 
   "Well...YEAH!
   Long story short, he talked her through it, got her moving to get survival clothes & gear into the car in case I was unable to save the building.  That's all she needed was to get into motion, after which he vanished and was not seen again.  Eventually, close to 50 neighbors plus Helitac plus a fire crew out of Wolf Creek plus some DNRC (state) units including a water bomber kept the fire from escaping our valley and running up the mountain, holding it to a total of 14 acres burned--but WE saved OUR place, alone. 
   Quite a super power, being able to trigger a potential ash-cicle into dynamic action.

   My Dad was my super hero when he was alive. Physically strong and very Creative. He was an excellent painter, built our houses, a rancher, av businessman, a Champion Chess Player in a tournament, a Champion Debater, a Professor, a Minister, just to name a few...he was everything I saw in what men were doing. He was a "god" and a magician to me. Everything was possible for him...there was nothing I asked that he cannot provide.

      Yes, I felt like the all-time luckiest daughter until I discovered his secret. I was his love child from his ex-student...other than this, my Dad was everything to me...I wrote a hub about him in Remembering Papa.
