   Do you prefer to live in the country or city and why?
   
   Saying if you lived in one and could still visit or have access to the other (for example you lived in city but could easily drive to country for the day or vice versa) which would you choose to live and why?

   I would live in the country and produce my own food through gardening. I don't like to live in the city because it is too crowded for me and not enough fresh air to breath in. I meant the air is polluted, too much traffic as well.

   I'm glad for your explanation of being close to the other as well. If this is the case, I'd most definitely prefer to live in the country. I love nature but also need too much stuff that only cities provide!

   Thank you both for your answers!
   When I was younger I thought it would be exciting to live around a lot of peers in the excitement of the city but now that I'm older I prefer the quiet, peaceful isolation of the country. I was curious if others felt the same.

   I have always loved living in a city, especially in a big city like Toronto.  I now live in a city close by that is less expensive.  I like access to bug malls and the performing arts.

      It is true that things like the performing arts and such are not available in the country. There are definitely pros and cons to both.

   I love the convenience of the city i.e. more shopping, entertainment, and cultural choices but I am feeling like it's getting too crowded and I can't stand the traffic (there is a lot of road rage in my area).  You would never know there is a "recession" going on in my city the way the restaurants are jammed pack full every night. Forget about showing up after 5:00 p.m. without a reservation because you will stand in line.  Traffic is a nightmare and the cost of living isn't cheap either. I think I would enjoy a smaller town with less people and less traffic.
