I love peanut donuts which are hard to find. Dunkin Donuts carries them sometimes depending on where you go. I can always find them up north in supermarkets. It's a cake donut covered with peanut chips. So good.

My favorite is a chocolate filled donut from a particular donut chain down south- Shipley's Donuts. Every time I go to Texas I have to get a couple.

My favorite donuts are glazed donuts and plain donuts. I do not like any with filling inside.

Guess I'm boring.  I love them plain old fashioned.  But I must admit, can't remember the last time I had one....very fattening.

Allie's donuts in Rhode Island.  I've only had them one time when a friend bought them for me.  They are really different.  The frosting is really sweet like icing.  They are super moist and cupcake like almost.

Definitely the Long John. I feel guilty every time, but they are so delicious.

I've tried all kinds of donuts from everywhere from the Pacific to the Northern most parts of Scandinavia and my absolute favorite is a good old fashioned - JELLY DONUT!!!

It's hard to go wrong with a good old fashioned glazed donut. Dunkin or Shipley's. I don't make a habit out of them, but enjoy those on special occasions!

Nothing beats a good old old fashion doughnut piping hot from a 10 inch cast iron fry pan and sometimes tossed in cinnamon sugar.
