Is there a way to add a Google +1 Button to Hubs? Does anyone do this?

I've noticed that my 'scorecard' under google adsense suggests that my score would be better if I added this button. Is there a way to add it? Does anyone else do this? Could it possibly be added to hubs where the other social media 'follows' are for Twitter and Pinterest?

For reasons that escape me (the staff would know), Hubpages has taken the Google+ share button of our hubs. You should establish a link between your hubs and your Google+ account. You could look up 'google authorship' in Google, and get the details on how to do this.

Basically, what I do is put a link at the bottom of each hub, which says "Copyright 2013 by timorous". The 'timorous' part is a link back to my Google+ account. The format for this link would be:

    https://plus.google.com/your_google_plu … rel=author
Then have a link on my Google+ page back to my Hubpages profile. There's probably a little more to it, though I don't think it's necessary to list or link to all of your individual hubs on your Google+ page, for the authorship to work.

    Hope that helps.

If comes with the Google Task Bar - you need to download it and then you can + anything you like, including your HubPages

Sorry..the link format I showed above is a bit incorrect. At the bottom of your hub article, the link should point back to your Hubpages profile page, not to your Google+ account. Thus, it should be: http://[your hub name]/hubpages.com/?rel=author.

I signed up 6-7 weeks ago and this is how easily it worked for me.

Go to your profile and click edit profile. Scroll down to the 'links' section. There is a section for Google+. I went to Google Plus and on my profile I clicked on 'about' and right clicked the address bar and copied the address and pasted it on the Google+ section on Hub Pages. Every time I post on Hub Pages I share it on all my social media sites.

This is what my Google+ link looks like:
