Do you continue to support a failure when the truth has been distributed showing that the failure
will hurt you in the long run? Many individuals seem to protect a failure even when it will hurt them. Do you believe that this is a result of the individual being apathetic?
I suppose it all depends on what the goal is. It has been said Thomas Edison had 10,000 failures on his way to inventing the light bulb. Cornel Sanders was turned down 1009 times regarding his fried chicken recipe before someone said (yes) to what later became Kentucky Fried Chicken.
However since your question is under the category of "gender relations" I can only speculate you are talking about whether one should or shouldn't walk away from a relationship. I've come to realize that "life is a personal journey" and there is no such thing as a (universal "deal breaker"). Whatever you or I might consider to be a "deal breaker", there are thousands if not millions of people living under those conditions and they have (no plans) of ever walking away.
From the outside we say they have low self-esteem or they don't love themselves. Nevertheless each of us gets to (choose) our own friends, lovers, and spouse.
The beautiful thing about a door is it lets those who want in (in) and those who want out (out). No one is "stuck" with anyone.
If someone is unhappy in their relationship and they choose to stay then (they) are (choosing) to be unhappy. All you can do as a friend or family member is point out the fact that they (do) have "options". However the decision is up to them!
Our lives are for the most part the end result of the choices and decisions (we) have made along the way. The great news is we (can learn) from our mistakes but first we have to be willing to acknowledge we made them.
Good answer but tbHistorian was referring to our current political administration but he put the question under the wrong topic.
Edison did not support each of the failures and continue to try to prove them a success.
Colonel Sanders did not support failures by returning to individuals who had turned him down.
Some good people preach tolerance, but bad people hurt good people.
If you are talking about relationships, then the answer is no. To me a failure in a relationship is adultery. In which is the ultimate betrayal. This is a deal breaker.
Go on with your life. I would rather hurt a lot for a while than to be hurt daily by the person who betrayed me.
JT, tbHistorian was referring to the Obama administration as to why people support him when the adminstration is a total disaster! He put the question under the wrong topic!
Sorry!! Feel free to delete my answer. Misunderstood??
JThomp42 - you are correct.
gmwilliams is incorrect in his assumption.
This shows that individuals that presume based on their personal feelings rather than truth seek the wrong answers.
I KNOW exactly what YOU are talking about. However it should be under politics/social issues-U.S. Politics- U.S. Presidents. Many people fall for this person's charisma and believe that this person is a savior although the truth presented is otherwise. People view this person as a messiah and savior who exhibits promise and change although the situation has gotten much worse.
This situation has similarly occurred in Germany in 1933. In late Weimer Germany, inflation was out of control and there was a socioeconomic depression. The German mark was out of control and millions of people were out of work. Adolf Hitler and the National Socialist party seized on this opportunity. Hitler indicated to those who will listen that he will make Germany a better nation. People saw Adolf Hitler as a beacon of hope and voted for him. The people were happy that Adolf Hitler and the National Socialist party were elected.
However, Adolf Hitler had AN AGENDA. He made THIS AGENDA quite known. However, the German people find this agenda totally incredulous. So they ignored this agenda. As Adolf Hitler and the National Socialist were more entrenched in power, the darker side of the regime become obvious i.e. the anti-Semitism and the singling out of people who disagree with the regime. People who disagreed with the regime disappeared into concentration camps. There were establishment of spy networks in Nazi Germany. Under Hitler and National Socialism, Germany became a totalitarian state. However, many of the German people thought Adolf Hitler and the Nazis were fantastic; however, there were SMART German people who saw Adolf Hitler is quite dangerous and some did revolt against Hitler much to their peril. Sadly the German people did not see Hitler as a monster until Germany was nearly destroyed in 1945!
Many Americans see President Obama as the best thing since Wonderbread. However, President Obama has AN AGENDA for the United States. He intends to make the United States more socialistic. Since he was in office, the socioeconomic situation of the country has gotten worse. His main concern is to establish the fiasco called Obama"care". Many Americans are so in love with President Obama and his "policies" because he is considered to be a breath of fresh air and a new political face. They refuse to see President Obama for who HE is. Many of Obama's supporters contend that America is going into a better direction than it has in the past.
I believe when it comes to politics there is evidence of "blind loyalty" in both parties. No president is "perfect". It comes down to whether one "agrees" with their agenda or not. People with blind party loyalty (only) see what they like or dislike
gmwilliams - you have no idea what I am asking.
Gender and Relationships is the question.
As written it is applicable to marriage, boyfriend-girlfriend, friend, acquaintance, co-worker, etc.
The darker side is showing itself daily as society drowns.

I mean, Good and Bad are relative. So, when American soldiers kill Iraqi civilians, that's OK. When Bin Laden destroys WT Centre, that's bad? I mean, how do you define a universal moral principle?

Image: Adolf Hitler in vanquished Paris, June 23 1940Nothing must be done between England and Germany which would in any way violate the prestige of Great Britain. Adolf Hitler[1]When Hitler realized that his original idea, the creation of a powerful Reich of all Germans allied to Britain, could...
