I saw a couple of guys watching water skiers taking off from a beach by taking off from dry sand. The boat pulls the line tight then guns the engine pulling the skier smoothly onto the water.
They tried to do it themselves. The guy threw a big coil of rope on the sand in front of him and told the boat driver to "Hit It!". By the time the loose rope ran out the boat was going full bore and snapped the skier a good 15' from shore.
Perhaps I shouldn't be laughing as it dislocated both of his arms. But others tried to tell him what he was doing wrong and he wasn't about to listen.
I saw this from a bluff overlooking the lake. From my vantage point it was pretty funny.

I was at this girl's house playing cards with a bunch of people and her brother, who weighed about 350 lbs. We were all drinking a lot and her brother got up to walk across the room to the bathroom and passed out and fell on the couch. Don't sound like much, but hold on. When he fell on the couch, little did he or anyone else realize he passed out on top of her cat. He didn't wake up for about 5 hours and when he did, there was her cat. Dead and flat as a pancake. She wasn't too happy with him. But we had to laugh. Especially when this huge guy was crying as he peeled it off the couch.

Nothing beats someone walking into something when they're not looking. I have a friend who walks a lot reading her kindle. She has walked into a couple of lamp posts. Then there is of course the typical walking into a glass door that you thought was open.
