Topics that Bring in Traffic
Which topics do you guys write about that tend to bring in the most traffic? I am still fairly new, so I don't know what is good traffic or what is bad traffic, and I am curious what seem to be the most popular topics for readers?
I don't think there is a magic set of 'topics' that will bring in more traffic than others.
I have created Hubs on Private Parking Companies, Tools I have bought from Aldi, an appraisee of Maggie Thatcher & making money from scrap to name but a few.
My highest-scoring Hub is my PPC one with close-on 29,000 hits to date. Private Parking Companies and their pursuit of innocent motorists are a hot topic here in the UK, so I am not surprised to have received so many hits.
I am surprised however that in excess of 7,800 people have read my review of Aldi's cordless multi-tool as it is not something everyone has a use for.
It does help to keep your hubs up to date if hubbing about a given subject.
I created a guide for speeding up slow PCs, but despite this being a money-saver, I have had little or no views at all. This is down to the number of alternative sites offering the same or similar information.
I also do not subscribe to the idea of 'bad traffic'. Any traffic is good traffic even if the visitor only reads the first couple of paragraphs before moving-on. I have looked at many hubs and decided that some are not of interest to me (but then again, they may be of immense interest to you).
Topics in the area of 'Health' are one which I hear bring in good traffic and Health is also one area recommended by HP. It also seems to be one of the subjects in which the articles are most often being copied - or stolen.
You can look in FAQ - http://hubpages.com/faq/#successful-subjects: Basically #7 but there are a few areas listed to check.
You can also check the Learning Center, improve the quality of your Hubs (if they need it), update Hubs - when needed, etc.
You are welcome. I hope this helps. :-)
There are thousands of them. All you need to do is look on topics that interest you most so you won't end up bored in the long run. After doing so, research for good keywords related to the topic of your choice through the Google Keyword Planner or any tool alike. Have a great day!

Hey y'all!Jason Menayan just published a GREAT blog post about his secret to finding high-traffic Hub topics: http://blog.hubpages.com/2011/02/high-traffic-topics/The gist is that he shies away from news, newsy titles, viral topics, review of low-cost products, and anything personal, and looks for...

One of my game guides gets 100 views a week, even though the game came out in 2014. When I wrote it, I didn't really think it'd do as well as it is. Have any of your articles done surprisingly well?

now I have studied seo for about 10 year now and i know why the majority of hubbers have been penalized by googles new update. the problem is with the subdomain names and categories. ill show you google looks for subdomains and list them as a niche or category. now when hubbers stick to the same...

Writing has always been my way of talking when no-one is listening so finding HubPages is as good as picking up the phone and knowing there is someone on the other end of the line.My problem is that I have so much to write about I don't know what my niche is or if I even want one. What do you think...
