Do you mostly text or phone and why?
Do you text just for short messages of information or do you have a conversation of to and fro text instead of a phone call?
I'd rather text/email people for information and talk in person for a conversation. Hate calling people on a phone.
I dont know what it is, but it seems they just get really stupid whenever they speak to me on the phone. They either take a decade to respond to my questions or they just stop talking altogether and I have to ask them something, which is dumb considering how they were the ones that called me to begin with. There are times where I call business and such and ask for certain information that they SHOULD know, but they just get confused with how to respond.
I don't like talking on the phone, and for simple questions, such as "What time did you say the party starts?" texting is sufficient. I don't like texting full conversations, if fact, I hate it, but if you just want a short piece of information from someone, again, texting is the way to go. I don't like texting full conversations because it is a waste of space and money. Talking on the phone can be annoying if the person is calling you while you are busy with something.
I text if i need something from the store while my partner is at he can get whatever I need on the way back. I prefer to phone only if necessary.
I prefer to actually talk to the person, but I'll use text to relay simple information. Appointments reminders are a good example. If you just tell someone when and where they may forget it if they don't write it down. As long as they don't delete the text, it'll be there for them to reference.

Do you think it's okay to break up with someone by texting or by email? It used to be the 'rule' that you broke up with a boyfriend or girlfriend in person, out of respect for the relationship you once had. Now, however, people also break up by phone, through email or even by texting. What do...

To all the people who don't have the decency to return my call and don't RSVP with a phone call but send a text instead:Oh, so you send a text instead? Rude. You could at least call me to decline. Maybe it's easier for your lazy butt not to have to move your mouth to speak in an intelligible...
