    Satan.... Faithful or Evil?

It doesn't matter what religion you follow. Your answers are welcome.
If you have read the story of satan and God and the time satan is kicked out of the heavens did you feel that even though he was kicked out and bound for hell, he was and still is faithful to God? He may be the enemy of humans but I feel he is still faithful to God.

Yes, he is faithful. Ultimately God is in charge and all is in God. There is nothing outside of God and Satan is part and parcel of the plan. You might say Satan is a sort of powerful temptation.

The Christ had to face it and so did the Buddha. They were both too strong ,  but some of us are not so strong and stumble. We gain strength after a few stumbles and will eventually become as strong as our Lord. Satan is an emissary of God. Where else can he come from? There is nothing else; nothing outside the Divine.

Thanks for your response. I doubt we can ever reach the levels you mention though. Too high spiritually in my opinion.

Why do you like babies? Why do you like Christ? What is his message to you or why did he come? Are the saints real? If so, why can't you be real? Reason this logically.

My view is, they are only concepts in the mind. If no one told you the story of Satan, it would not exist in your thought process. Anybody can dig up names of so-called evil entities from India, Tibet, Africa or China or anywhere. But if you never heard of them, you don't care about them or even acknowledge their existence. In fact, like I said earlier, they don't exist for you. They are not in your mind. They may be a big deal to those cultures or religions. So here's one take. There are perceptions of good and evil in the mind. The energy has no names. Men have given names to their own perceptions of good and evil. But it is inside of him all along. It is not the entity. But due to the creation of religions and mythology/storytelling from ancient people, the stories have become real to people. It's almost impossible to remove the teachings from those who have fully accepted the stories without question, logic or even just consider the original man who thought up the story. But it's a personal choice. Those who want to cling to a name or a story from one of the religions, have to accept what goes with it. Whatever culture or religion they have been programmed with will be happy they accepted their traditions.

Your answer makes me wonder...what if I had not been born in and grown up in a Christian-dominated, western country? What would be my perspective toward religion? Definitely makes you think.

How is he faithful to God?  His MO is to steal, kill, and destroy, although he cannot do anything without God's permission.  He hates God and is using us to get to Him.  He is defeated but I don't think he has accepted that fact.

thanks for your answer. He is the enemy of humans ... but he does nothing wrong to God... he doesn't hate god ... he's still doing Gods work in my opinion...

I do not think he is faithful to God, if he were, he would abide by Gods wishes freely. He instead does what he can toward humanity within the confines of what God allows. If he could, he would destroy humanity immediately, but instead, he is limited by what he can do at this time.

I would say an enemy of the people because we the people are created in the Image of God, and since his hatred is towards God, and he can not destroy God, he wants to destroy Us, since we are created by God and in God's image.

Never heard of made in "Gods image" before ... Now it makes sense, why you think he is not faithful. Thanks  again. smile

      Genesis 1:27 King James Version
27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
