    Love her the way she wants to be loved, instead of the way he wants to love her.  Consult "Five Love Languages" by Gary Chapman.  It works.

    You don't convince anyone that you love them.  You show them.  And if you show them well enough, it's something that doesn't need to be said.  They'll know beyond a shadow of a doubt.  Actions, in this case, speak much, much louder than words ever could.

    Hopefully he did that BEFORE she chose to say; "I do".
    After that it all comes down to continuing to do those things that caused her to fall "in love" with him in the first place.
    Too many people pull a "bait & switch" on their mates. They'll bend over backwards early on to "win them over" and then once there is an emotional investment or marital commitment they stop.
    It's almost a cliché to hear: "He/she is not the same person I fell in love with."
    There is an old song by Curtis Mayfield & The Impressions;
    "The same thing it took to get your baby is the same thing it's going to take to keep her."
    There is no neutral in relationships you're either nurturing or neglecting, growing together or growing apart.

    Respect her!
    Don't take her for granted!
    Don't treat her like a maid or a prostitute or a nanny!
    Treat her like an equal (not a child, pet or an inferior).
    Listen to what she has to say!
    Don't lie/cheat/hurt her
    Don't be demanding and controlling (She is a human being who was born with right to be independent and free!!!)
    Think of marriage as a partnership! Work together, help out, clean, do your laundry, make dinner sometimes (if you can cook). Real men (and women!) are mature and they don't let society's social/gender roles dictate or control their marriage
    Be responsible and don't cause drama and grief! Women look for stability and a man that is A MAN AND CAN HANDLE HIS OWN
    Show love and affection! Be romantic and sweet! Keep the love alive

    You got to show her through actions along with words (actions are more important though!!!)
