Is it love when you hurt and cry more than having happiness?

To have love is to cherish love and be happy, but would you call it love if one of the partners is not happy and hurts more  in being in an unhappy relationship?

I believe if a man loves a woman he wants her to be happy, smile and kiss her when he comes home. He wants to be with her and do things with her.

He does not want to make her sad if he loves her. He cannot walk past her without touching her ever-so lightly or giving her tiny kisses.

If a man loves a woman you are his world, when you are happy he is happy. He enjoys taking you out for dinner, dancing or maybe a movie. Or, even a walk in the park just holding hands and talking as he hugs you and holds you near.

If a man loves a woman she does not need to ask if he loves her---because she knows by the way--- he treats her.

You feel it in your heart and soul---down to your toes the love you have for each other---like a bubbling brook inundating you with his glorifications, day in and day out. Your life is wonderful and you are so thankful to be his special love.

This is just my opinion of what I expect and receive that makes me happy. I hope I have answered your question in some small way this will help.

Some people only stay because (they're) "in love".
It's not unusual to hear someone who is even in an abusive relationship state the reason why they won't leave is because they "love" him or her. For others thoughts of being alone is worse!
Some people are die hard romantics hanging in there hoping things improve. After all there must have been some "good times" before they became "a couple". They secretly hope those times will return.
