    Do you believe in aliens?

Do you think that somewhere out there in the big wide universe other life forms exist? Is it possible that we are not the only planet where conditions are just right for life of some kind?

I believe in the possibility that there is life in other planets. It doesn't have to be necessarily intelligent life, it may even be microscopic, but I think, with so many millions of stars and planets, it is a bit arrogant from us to believe we are the only planet with living things.

I believe in higher powers out there, I do believe in the unknown and spirits there to help us. If there are aliens out there then it is meant to be.

I do not believe that the unknown is to hurt us, I only believe they are there for the good of us all if we let them, ex. Angels, our creator.

I am not sure I believe that people have been abducted by aliens stories, however I do believe they may have had a dream of something else out there trying to give them a message/warning.

I do believe they may have seen something in the sky, but once again I think they are seeing something that resides in the universe that are tended to let people know or their existence. (Just cause something is invisible, doesn't mean it isn't in existence). The way I look at it, we need to fear the known in this world as we see what is happening around us, rather than the unknown. This of course is just my opinion, others may not agree.

    Thank you

    Good question

    have a good day

I certainly agree that we need to fear the known in this world after the atrocities of the past few days.

I would be willing to bet on it. Whether we ever find it, that's a whole different question and I would probably say no. But who knows what we'll be able to do a couple hundred years from now if humanity is still going strong.

And maybe the other life forms are far more advanced than we are and will find us first!

I doubt very much we will discover other forms of life as I doubt humanity will reach that advanced stage.

I believe it is quite a possibility. Amid the millions of stars and galaxies, sun is an insignificantly small star and earth is at the best a speck of dust when compared some stars.

I wonder whether it is because we are so insignificant, other aliens did not get the chance to come across earth!

Maybe they have visited and seen how destructive we are so made a hasty exit.

no, most of these aliens and ufo stuff are just fictions and scientific stories, never happen here yet

All the stuff about aliens on TV is just made up, but I can't believe we are the only life in the whole universe.

Absolutely. In fact I don't understand how there could even be a possibility that there isn't some other form of life out there. There are an estimated 100 Billion galaxies in the visible universe. In the Milky Way Galaxy alone there are around 300 Billion stars. Whether or not there are "aliens" is not something we can prove at the moment, but the Law of Large Numbers suggests that it would be nearly impossible for there not to be another form of life out there somewhere. The universe is bigger than any of us could even imagine. We can't be that special.

It is hard to imagine the size of the universe so I agree we cannot be the only form of life there has to be other life forms somewhere.

Ths basic answer is 'yes, I believe in aliens.' But it's not quite as simple as that.

I believe that alien organisms exist on other worlds, because the basic building blocks of life are probably common throughout the universe, and the conditions necessary for life to develop probably exist on other worlds. There are an awful lot of worlds out there! There may even be life elsewhere in our solar system. But for the most part we are talking microorganisms - complex animals or plants would be much rarer.

I don't however believe there are any other intelligent species in our galaxy for reasons both statistical and practical (basically to do with the size and age of the Galaxy and the assumed rapid rate of technological progress of an intelligent species). It would be too long a reply to explain in detail all the reasons why, but I'm pretty confident in my own mind that no other intelligences exist in our galaxy. Equally of course, I do not believe that any intelligent aliens have visited the Earth.

That does not of course preclude the possibility that there are intelligent species in other parts of the universe much further away from our galaxy.

I don't believe we have been visited either as I'm sure we would have evidence of that unless of course they were super intelligent and didn't leave any evidence.

No, I don't believe in aliens as people imagine them. But I think it is possible for biological life to exist in the universe; what form it takes
I wouldn't know. Also, the life that does exist elsewhere in  the galaxy
may be quite benign, so I fear more the dangers I can see here on the
    planet of earth.

I think I agree with you that we have more to fear from dangers here on earth than possible life forms in other galaxies.
