   There are many things we can do in this life. But we are not living the real life God meant us to live, there is a glitch for a moment in time to settle issues . Targeted and mostly directed at God Almighty from satan. That is his right to rule over his own creations to give them the most breath taking and wonderful life he can give. All desires being fulfilled. This world or globe is divide into sections of materialism, political powers.
   Injustice on all parts of the planet, wars ,food shortage. The time has soon arrive to end all these things. And so the whole earth will have an opportunity to be Rich from God's own hand.
   
   King James Version Ps 145:16 Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
   
   Notice everything that lives will be satisfied .

   There is always a Silent Guide, an Inner Pilot, and then again, there is also Karma, which is really not so straightforward. Finally, there is Consciousness which tend to dictate according to how mature or less mature each Soul is. I thought that I was done but now I add Grace, which occasionally changes the picture.
   
   The Participator or Spectator acts according to these forces, depending on how he or she is receptive to them. Receptivity requires selfless giving, gratitude, interior prayer, meditation or simply put, a life of spiritual practices (sadhana)
   
   I argue from the standpoint that we are not our own, that Something Higher is continuously in charge. Having said that though, many argue the virtues of self-effort or virtuous acts. Ultimately Grace is responsible for all that takes place and God is the only Doer.
   
   Should we not make an effort then? Of course we should! Do your best always, while trying to feel like a servant in a rich man's house. In other words, act with the spirit of unconditional surrender, and all will be well.
   
   You may think I've strayed here, but frankly the devotee sees all as coming from the One, and the inner life answers all questions. There is only 'That'.
   
   Happy New Year, GM. You have some very nice answers here on Hub Pages. Much peace for 2015 and beyond.
   P.S. I'm certainly a Doer and a meditator. In my experience, one compliments the other and vice versa.

   I tend to alternate between the two.  If nothing's going on or moving forward then I need to make things happen.  Once I get the ball rolling, I'll chug along at a comfortable pace for a time.  Every now and then I need to step back and see if the things I started are going in the right direction.  If they are, I let them continue.  If not, then I tweak and fine tune till it's just right.

   I am both. When I was growing up, I was a spectator. I learned the basics of living. I observed how things occur and go. Now that I have already grown up, I am starting to make things happen. When I don't like something, I changed it. When I want to do something, I do it. I think a person's development goes in that order, although not in general.
