Between those two, KFC all the way. But when I wanna go for fast food, I either go to Taco Bell or get stuff while I'm at Sheetz.

Oh man, it's both poison. Have you any idea what you're actually eating?
In Iceland they sold the last hamburger from macdonalds 6 years ago, AND it's still Good!!! There's more hormones, sugar and bleached flour in the burger then ham... the meat comes from sick mistreated animals.
You want a good Hamburger, go to a green butcher and make one yourself, but that's not directly fast food.
If you want to live longer, eat healthy.
MacDonalds and KFC are expensive too. Better buy some rice or potatoes and some vegetables on the market. Cheaper and healthier.
It's amazing that the younger generation will have a shorter life span then there parents because of the food they eat. lots of sugar and fat.
So my answer to the question is, neither are my fav. food.

Thank you for choosing my comment as best answer.
Strange how they title Mac an KFC as restaurants....
A great film to watch is : Fast Food Nation.
Ever wondered why a hamburger is so cheap? Slave labour of immigrants, working under harsh conditions.

Neither. I don't eat overly-processed fast food, which is all either place serves. I'd rather stop at the grocery store, and grab some real food.

I prefer McDonalds, but I like the biscuits at KFC.  Also, there tend to be more Mcs that KFC around in my area.

In my country, both of them are too expensive. The smallest menu in both of them is $4. For this money we have to work 2 hours.

In the U.S. McDonalds has a $1 menu with a wide variety of items to choose from. If we had to pay the equivalent of 2 hours minimum wage for a fast food meal no one would go! Fast food beef/chicken is cheaper than salads in the U.S.

      In my country $1 it's only a hamburger , a big mac medium menu it's $5,5

In my Country a meal is about £5 which is about $8 sad

In the U.S. on the $1 menu you can buy either a cheeseburger or chicken sandwich for a $1, a small french fries for another $1, and a small soda for another $1 (the drink allows you free refills while there). That works out to $3 plus sales tax.

Neither one of them is my favorite. However during the course of a year I probably visit McDonalds more than KFC.
McDonalds has breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, orange juice, ice cream cones, salads, and a wider variety of other food selections. People primarily go for fast food because it's hot, fast, and cheap. There is no $1 menu or breakfast items at KFC.

Hmmm - most replies to date seem generally hostile to McDonalds and KFC, despite the enormous popularity of these outlets with the public.

Is that because most people who go there just like to pretend they are much too classy to eat such junk food?

Or is it because HubPage members are indeed much more classy than the general public who eat such junk food?? smile

Seriously, I'll eat either when I can't be bothered with cooking, and there's no proper restaurants around. I probably prefer KFC, but McDonalds is more convenient for me.
