   When the stats are frozen, as they are now, is it best to not publish a hub?
   
   Being the stats have been frozen for about two days now, would it be best to wait to publish a hub after they start moving again?  Thank you for answering.

   I think it should be okay, but I have no data to back up that claim. It appears you aren't the only one with two-day-old stats.

   Nope, I never publish new hub when the stats are frozen. Just update old hubs and get them featured

      Hi peachy, I was waiting to see how others faired after publishing great hubs, and their Hubber score dropped, so I am glad I did not publish. I see they are no longer frozen. Thank you.

   Stats behind have nothing to do with you publishing hubs.  It is simply more bug issues everyday, HP stats behind which can go on for a week or more behind.     It is just a typical day at HP with nothing working right.

      Hi Linda, Yes, they seem to freeze up more so right before or during the weekend. I checked out others who published wonderful hubs during the freeze and their Hubber score dropped a couple of points for no apparent reason I could see.  Thank you.

   I don't think frozen stats should hold you up, Faith. You'll still get traffic, whether or not HP is tracking/reporting it. You can always check your Google Webmaster account to get a true picture of your online activity.
   
   HP will catch up eventually.

      Hi Sha, I see they are finally unfrozen now. I am late on my Sunday publishing : ) ...but then I saw stats were frozen, and noticed others who had published yesterday, and their Hubber scores dropped after publishing great hubs?  Hugs

   Keep on publishing Faith, it will not affect anything the only difference is the change in the numbers when it starts again. When that happens do not let it bother you just continue working and things will return to normal.

      Hi Kevin, you're right about all of that, but I did notice those who did published (and great hubs too), that their Hubber score dropped a point or two? I will never understand.

      When you publish or update a Hub it goes thru the QAP and Hubber score lowers waiting for QAP to finish & then staff to rate it. Hubs w/lower scores lower Hubber score (done already). Hubs w/high scores raise Hubber scores.

   I think hubber score has nothing to do with frozen stats. They keep the hubber score always updated irrespective of the statistics lagging behind for 2 or 3 days. I often noticed this fact. When you publish a new hub your score will drop automatically because the number of hubs increase and total points are increased only by the new hub you published. So when divided by the number of hubs, it automatically goes down. Later, when you receive comments and sharings of your hub and any other activities done by you push the hubber score up gradually. So you need not stop publishing hubs, whatever reason it might be. Keep on feeding your audience with new thoughts every day.
