I would think if you are feeling this way you need to sit down and have a long talk With your boyfriend, because going behind his back is just gonna cause more trust issues. Also you could find misleading false information that would make you worry more.

If you think he's cheating assume that he is!
The minute you no longer trust him the relationship is over!
Unless you have a history of being paranoid and insecure in relationships then you should always trust yourself and inner instincts.
If something doesn't feel right to you it's probably not right for you.
On the other hand since you don't think it's a worth investing a "single dime" to find out if he's cheating a part of you must feel you're being insecure therefore you don't want to "waste" money.
Generally speaking we only suspect our mate is cheating when their (behavior or habits suddenly changes) in ways we dislike.
If we found out they weren't cheating and the behavior remained we'd still be unhappy. Some folks almost {need} to catch their mate cheating in order to (give themselves permission) to walk away from an already unhappy relationship!
I know of one woman who was {verbally and physically abused} but stayed with the man until she found out he was cheating!
We're all entitled to have our own "deal breakers".
If you're "unhappy" it makes no difference if he's (all yours) or not!
    One man's opinion!smile

Just the idea of spying on your lover makes you a sneak. If you're that insecure about all your relationships you should see a shrink. That's because it's crazy love turned paranoid.
Whatever you do, stop trying to spy on your lover. Meanwhile, do more to fulfill your own dreams, walk your own walk, own your emotions and your best thoughts.
Good luck. I know this isn't what you want to hear, but I just wanted to be honest, not aid and abet someone's paranoia.
