   Do you prefer square cut fingernails, over oval cut fingernails?
   
   I find square cut fingernails to be more functional than oval, which do you prefer?

   I like a convination of both because when you cut it square. The nails brake faster. During the filing,  it is easy to file the right way. Starting from the corner to the middle.  Then, you need to file the middle of the nails.  Some nails looks fabulous in the square shape. When the nail is flat. For angel's nails, a convination of both shapes is better. Angel's nails are round in the middle.

   I prefer the oval cut fingernails to the straightcut fingernails because I want my nails to look natural and longer. I just don't like my fingernails to look flat and square.

   I have brittle nails so a more rounded edge is better for me since it has less chance of catching on materials.
   The square or straight across the top cut doesn't work for me and seems unnatural IMO.  ;-)

   I'm an artist, and do videos of how my pieces go together. For continuity's sake, as well as functionality, I keep my nails cut short, and rounded. They look neat and uniform, and they break less easily. There's also less paint and art supply build up under rounded nails at the end of the day.

   i love oval cut fingernail but my finger nail could never grow that way. Always turn out square, so ugly

      Hello miss peachy. You can glue art nails or plastic nails to allow your natural nail to grow. You also need regular manicures. The best place to get a well done manicure. It is at a beauty school. Good luck to you.
