If I ask lots of questions here on HubPages, will it boost my hubber score?

    If I ask lots of questions here on HubPages, will it boost my hubber score?

    I'm not really sure what the function is for this question section of Hubpages. Many of the questions seem so random and not related to the site.

    Is it just a way of socializing on the site and networking?

    Its both socializing, a display of authority, a portal for hub ideas, and a place for your questions to be answered! Not only that, questions you ask have your adsense code on them some of the time and you can profit off random viewers! *the last time I checked*

    It originally started as a way for hubbers to create new hubs when they lacked ideas but has grown to be so much more then that. It is a very useful tool for many, and it can add a few cents to your wallet if done well!

    Lastly, It does help your hubber score to create and to answer others questions, there are even accolades for questions asked, questions answered, and for author selected "best answers".

    I heard that you can make money off of asking questions.  I will try it myself.

    Activity on HubPages will help your user score, whether it's in the Q&A, Forums, or commenting on other hubs. Nothing helps hubscore as much as writing new hubs, but it's a good practice to be active around the site.

    I never thought about that, but you could be correct. 
    I just try to help if I see one that I can answer or try to cheer someone up if he/she needs it  smile

    in the past, asking questions and answering them could boost up your score but now, HP focus on our hubs, quality ones. SO, questions do not affect much
