Google Re-indexing

   I have recently edited and added materials on my hubs.  It's been three days now, yet Google has not re-indexed them.  When I google on my hubs, the results still show the old pages.
   
   How long does it take before Google re-indexes my edited hubs?
   
   Is there anything I can do hasten the process?

   It may take a while. As long as they stay in the index, I would not worry.

      I don't worry on those hubs appearing on the SERP's first three pages.  I'm becoming impatient with those lazy bots, cause I've included significant materials on my non-SERP performing hubs.

   Tweeting them might help.  It should at least bring the GoogleBot around again, as well as several other bots.  Google works in mysterious ways its wonders to perform.

   I've seen them re-indexed in hours, days and weeks.
   Like JohnnyComeLately suggested, try "bumping" them a bit with a tweet or a ping.
   You can try Autopinger, Pingoat or Blog Buzzer.
   Or submit to a new site you have never used before.

      Thanks for giving me a clear and concise advice.  It's almost a week now and most of the hubs where I made major changes have not been re-index up to now.  I'll give it a try.

   LVM Google is a strange beast. As others have said, some hubs appear within hours - others take days. And if you're really unlucky, weeks.
   
   Then there's the mythical sandbox. And google have been reshuffling again of late anyway. All normal but a pain in the ass if you have something shifted down or sandboxed

      Now I know, it takes time.
      
      I was very concerned about this because I edited some of my hubs with SIGNIFICANT additions.  I should have created new hubs instead of editing them.  New hubs get indexed within hours.

   When you say that Google has not re-indexed them, are you talking about the version that shows when you look at the cached version or are you looking at the result in the SERPs.  Often what shows in the cached version is a few days behind what actually indexed and in the SERPs.
   
   Having said that, 3 days is not a long time.  It should be less than 30 days, typically it will be much less than that, but if it's not a high PR page then it may be more than just a few days.

      I'm looking at the cached version, since I assume that's what Google is seing and using to rank my page. 
      
      Frankly, I would disagree with you that "what actually indexed and in the SERPs" is the newer version of my hubs.  The fastest computers and the fastest search algorithms couldn't possibly visit billions of pages and churn out a results page within seconds.  They MUST be using the previously cached versions of pages to do it.
      
      It's almost a week now since I edited around 20 hubs.  I've seen three of those 20 hubs already re-indexed.

   LVM, there was a point in my short time here on HP when I fretted over one hub that went from #1 to zero overnight. After listening to some of the senior hubbers on here (like FrogDropping - a genius in her own right), I realized that you can't worry about one or two or three hubs or you'll be driving yourself crazy permanently. Once you've got 100+ hubs going, you'll be talking percentages -- not individual hubs.
