Yes, I agree that some white people think that way, but not as many as has been portrayed by media. There are some black people who have a superior attitude toward white people.  In other words, folks is folks where e'er we go.  I've met a wide variety of them, and for the most part, the ones of either color who are racists are responding to what they've heard about the other race since they have little to no experience outside their own small circle.

Today's modern society is generally accepting of all races. Here in Fort Wayne, Indiana blacks, whites, Hispanics and the Burmese people all co-exist peacefully and celebrate colorblind friendships. The media is in fact rehashing the sins of past ancestors which stir up emotions, creating fresh racial conflicts in certain regions. Lets live in peace with one another as we are all Gods children.

I have yet to meet someone who has espoused that thought that did not think it true about all other "races". Shucks for that matter about other genders, ages, sizes, faiths and locations. I think there must be a predisposition in some to think they are superior. There used to be and probably still is such an attitude about blondes.

Racism exists, always has, always will.  To ignore that is to do a great disservice to people.  Racism is not only perpetuated by white people I might add. I suspect you will find some racists in every race, because racism is a form of ignorance, and that is rampant everywhere it seems at times.  Sensationalizing racism is no better.  We need to address it as rational adults, but we can't do that because the media want's to "stir the pot" not provide a platform to seek solutions.

I think instead of making it a "race thing" or pitting white against black,  we all need to sit down and figure out what has gone so horribly wrong in our society that it has led to the problems we see today with violence, lack of personal accountability, education that is progressively slipping, and a for profit prison system that incarcerates large numbers of people.  (we have 1/5th of the world's population and 25% of the prisoners - there's a systemic issue here) So many things we need to address that fuel this - but instead of the real problems we look at a handful of white supremacist idiots or want to rip down a flag as though that will obliterate the problems.

Yes, I agree that there are some white people who think they are superior to black people but there are also black people who are arrogant and worse than white people. I think there are also black people who thinks they are superior to white people. I don't know why these people think that way. It does not matter whether we are black, white or brown or half-cooked, we are all people. I think there should be respect for one another and make this world a better place to live in. Make peace and not war. It makes me mad why colour matters at all not the person.

Yes. I agree. Some whites are really racists. But I don't think it's not because of the skin color. The reason is more than that.
