Parents want their children to have it better than they did educationally and socioeconomically.  They want their children to have all the opportunities that they did not.  They want their children to utilize the most of their human potential and to be the best people imaginable.  They want their children to pursue their passion and to do what makes the latter happy as long as it does not harm others.  My parents wanted that for me.

I have several...but most of all - I hope she has a happy, fulfilling life, achieving her dreams. I also hope she always knows just how much we love her, wanted her, dreamed of her, and respect her. Even if she's in a mood with us!

But, I really like her to grow up in a world that accepts everyone no matter the gender or gender expression of who they love, the colour of their skin, their religion or lack thereof, their abilities - different or otherwise etc. And every one is equal.

We are on our way there, but I don't think I'll see it completely in my life time.

My biggest hope for all three of my children are that they have a wonderful childhood that they will look back on and remember it being filled with memories of our family being together.
As they get older I want them to be themselves and get into a career field that they love. I want them to pick a career that they are passionate about and would enjoy doing it for the rest of their lives.
Overall, I just want them to be happy with their lives!!

Now that my children are well settled professionals, I just want them  to be happy, healthy and prosperous. I want them to remain good human beings, kind, helpful and compassionate as they are,  towards other fellow humans.

I pray they will be healthy, happy, loving, generous and that they all "stay close" to God until they pass on.

That they be happy and at peace with themselves. To be comfortable in their own skin.

To be happy, healthy, productive, responsible, self supporting as adults, and pass that on the their children.

My biggest hope for my son is that he will grow with fear of God.
