Should there be the etiquette and ethics taught in schools to boost individual perceptivity?
In my opinion, our generation is being threatened by mass opinionatedness.
I do believe that teaching those will be a great help for many. Many are not aware of things they do or say that can be offensive or detrimental to their image. The environment and media can be misleading on so many issues. But now, it may be difficult to find a curriculum that all parents and guardians will agree with… civil lessons could be the limit accepted.
Thanks for being first respondent, NiaLee.
Definitely, parents are the main issue, since true ''education" begins and continue at home; curriculum would not be a problem, can be created if required; as far as 'agree with' most of the loving and carrying would quickly find benefit for all family.
I think etiquette and ethics should be taught is school. But everyone's opinion on what is ethical and what isn't has drastically changed with each generation. Our generation has become very concerned with allowing our children to be individuals , which is a good thing. The problem with that is, morals and ethics are taught by example. When I was growing up adults were revered; that doesn't seem to be the case anymore.
True Dana ‘ everyone’s opinion’ prevails short of basic appropriate social behavior. What we witness to in our time the inborn ethical moral principles are not properly nurtured by any institutional “ education” thus weakening human dignity in gener
Probably it should be taught and by parents would be best but then if parents don't teach it then it would be good for children to pick it up at school. I don't trust them for much but surely they could do this right.
Correct Jackie; when parents set high ethical principles at home by example, there would be opposition to school's barbaric unethical human conduct education. Dr.A.Schweitzer said "True ethics begin where the use of language ceases.'

It perplexes me that despite the advent of the Internet and the quickness with which information can travel nowadays, so many young people are still so woefully ignorant of the issues that affect our society. Mainly, the ignorance of politics and the workings of our government is what I'm concerned...
