    What do you think people need to change in their lives before the Judgement Seat of Christ happen?

    For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad. (2 Corinthians 5:10)

    I suppose the answer to this question will vary from person to person.
    One first has to believe in the concept of god along with the idea of 7 Billion people coming before him (one by one) to account for their life on earth similar to standing in a courtroom.
    It's been said: Every Saint has a past and every Sinner has a future.
    Ecclesiastes 7:20
    "For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not."
    I suspect if one genuinely asked for forgiveness as the thief crucified next to Jesus did they have up until their last breath to get into heaven.
    Having said that if one is a true believer they also must know God knew when they would be born, the choices they would make throughout their life, and how they would die before they ever took in their first breath. Theoretically one cannot  "surprise" God.
    He already knew who was "going to heaven" and who was "going to hell" the day of their birth.
    Maybe there is no "place" in the sky with streets of gold and pearly gates. Luke 17:21 says the following;
    "Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, {the kingdom of God is within you.}

      The "Kingdom of God" is within you "IF" you BELIEVE in "rightly divided" WORD!
      Don't get it "twisted," not ALL "Believers" have the Kingdom of God in them!  "I never knew you" (Matt 7:21-23)!

    The only thing you can do is give your life to Christ and accept that He is your savior.  Nothing else will work.

      I'm sure everyone wants to hear "Well done my good and faithful servant," and not hear "Depart from me" when time for the Judgement Seat of Christ.

      You're not kidding....worst fear is hearing "Depart from me."  Too terrible to imagine.

    BELIEVE in the NEW COVENANT which is “ALL SPIRITUAL!”  John 4:23-24 says {paraphrasing} “GOD seeks “TRUE WORSHIPERS” who “MUST” worship in “SPIRIT” and in “TRUTH!”

    In Jeremiah 31:33; Hebrews 8: 10; 10:16 GOD said “AFTER THOSE DAYS” (After His ascension into heaven), HE would make a NEW COVENANT wherein HE would “put his laws in our hearts and minds” {paraphrasing}!  How did HE accomplish this?  “SPIRITUALLY!”

    In John 14:26 and 16:13 HE “PROMISED” the Holy Spirit to “Help” us by “leading and guiding us into ALL truth,” IF we “WAIT” (Acts 1:4)!  Did we “wait” for the “Help” of the Holy Spirit or did we use our intellect (“understanding;” Proverbs 3:5) to form “our” perception of His Word?

    Before His ascension, Jesus asked us to “OBSERVE” the disciples” (Matthew 28:20)! Do we do this or do we listen to Religion who has taught “If it’s not in red, I’m not doing it?”

    Why would Jesus tell Ananias PAUL “would be “a vessel” unto Him" in Acts 9:15? What do you think “a vessel” is?  It’s an “empty pot” that Jesus filled with HIS WORDS!  Jesus cleaned PAUL from his “traditional” thinking and filled him with HIS Thinking!  Why do you think most of the New Testament was written by Paul?  Did GOD (aka Jesus; ONE SPIRIT; I Corinthians 12) not say in Jeremiah and Hebrews that HE “would put His laws in our hearts and minds” under the NEW COVENANT as HE did with Paul?

    MY GOD, MY GOD!  “Religion” is killing MOST and “unfortunately,” MOST will hear “Depart from me, I never knew you!”

    Ann: Did you notice the Scripture you quoted (2 Corinthians 5:10) says “…things done in his body…?”  Have you read I Corinthians 6:18 which said, “Flee fornication. Every sin that a man doeth IS WITHOUT THE BODY; but he that committeth fornication SINNETH AGAINST HIS OWN BODY?”  Did you also know that under the NEW COVENANT “GOD SAID,” “…and I will remember their sin no more” (Jeremiah 31:34)?  However, under the NEW COVENANT, we must “REPENT” (Acts 2:38)!

    Does Religion teach this?  IT IS WRITTEN!  When we don’t “STUDY” and/or “BELIEVE” we violate the Word of God by practicing premarital sex which produces AIDS, single parents, illegitimate children and a “broken” society (consequences)!

    Consequently, "...for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat; (v12) Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it" (Matthew 7:13-14)!

      Norine, yes I read that whole scripture, and I don't have a problem with fornication because I'm married. And I agree we must REPENT of our sins, BELIEVE that Christ the Messiah is the son of God. Also STUDY His word, meditate on it day and night.

      Ann: Not directed to "you" personally!  For ALL'S knowledge of what Religion doesn't teach!
      JESUS is GOD; otherwise Scripture LIED (Rev 1:8; I Tim 3:16; Jn 1:10;14)! Why these Scriptures (I Cor 12)?
      His "GLORIES:" Father, Son, Holy Spirit!

      True, Christ is God it's in the scriptures. It will take a whole renewal to replace what religion has done to many of us. This is why we have to study the Word for ourselves. Religious folks say "I'm not perfect, God know my heart." Matthew 5:48

      TRUE!  "There is therefore "no condemnation" to them who are "in Christ Jesus" (Rm 8:1)!  We must be "in Christ" "On ONE Accord" as the disciples AFTER The Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:42)!
      I'm here to "renew" w/WORD!

    Hello!
    Please! give yourself a little time and have a look to the reading from the first letter of St. John --- 1John3:1-3
    Think of the love the Father has lavished on us, by letting us be called God's children; and that is what we are. Because the world refused to acknowledge him; therefore it doesn't acknowledge us. My dear people, we are already the children of God, but what we are to be in the future has not yet been revealed; all we know is, that when it is revealed, we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he really is. Surely everyone who entertains this hope must purify himself, must try to be as pure as Christ. Thank you!

      Not if we don't believe and follow "The Gospel of Christ" (Gal 1:6-9)!
      "Please! give yourself a little time and have a look to the reading from the entire Book of Hebrews!"
      Thank you!

    "But as many as received him, to them gave he power [Received after Holy Spirit baptism; Acts 1:5;8] to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born [Again; John 3:5-7; I Peter 1:23], not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God" (John 1:12-13).
