   What is the all time highest view count of a single hub?
   
   Just curious as to what people are seeing in their view counts.
   My highest so far is 935.

   My highest is 8,785.   However, it has been on Hubpages since 2010.

   Pineal Gland The God Organ is currently sitting at 28,958, however I have three others in the 11,000 range and the lowest in my top ten is a little over 5,500.
   
   I'm more about consistency as 77 of my 225 Hubs are over a thousand Page Views, with eight in the 900 range.
   
   It will be five years for me in September and I used to get a thousand readers a day with far fewer Hubs but when Google decided they would decide what is the truth and no longer rank articles based on popularity my page views plummeted to a little over a 100 a day.
   
   That my folks is what is known as censorship and since most of my articles are about disinformation and conspiracies they no longer rank very high.

      Am also very impressed, Somethingblue.   Hubpages don't exactly encourage, do they?  When a Hub is accepted and promulgated on the site, why do they then fix it so only some them can be viewed?

      Because they are the pawns of the almighty Google and what Google tells them to do they do, it's about money. For instance, we only get credit for a Page View if someone stays on our page for 3 minutes and 50 seconds but HP gets paid regardless!

      No, not unsavory, Google changed their ranking rules based on what they decided was the veracity of any article. Before rankings were based on popularity, not content. If your article is about anything not part of the status quo,  it gets ranked low!

      Cecelia, my opinion is that there is no conspiracy with google ranking. They are a search engine business. They exist to make a profit. Their secret algorithm that deliver search results is constantly being tweaked.

      No one said there is a conspiracy, Google makes the rules HP follows them because the choices are slim and even Bing follows these rules, they're all co-owned by the same conglomerates. Being naive is not an excuse for ignorance, Wake Up Jack!

      Yes, google makes the rules but to what end? They are just interested in making a profit. That is why they collect all data from users so they can selectively market to each user. HP is responding to this changing environment. Competition...

      To the end of censoring alternative news sources, limiting the truth and maintaining the status quo. Cancer is a good example, thousands of articles about successful alternative treatment exist and are available but how many have you read?
