Has Einstein's constant now been disproved by entanglement?

    Has Einstein's constant now been disproved by entanglement?

    The instantaneous transmission of information has now been proven by entanglement experiments. Does this mean the so called constant (speed of light) has been shown to be incorrect? Does entangled information exceed the speed of light? Is this a kind of time travel or a "time warp, again?"

    The problem with scientists is that they always seem to give us their preliminary results without thinking through the whole process. They have done this entanglement of photon but their results are skimpy, and actually meaningless as far as the C is concerned.

    We get these scientific results all the time, especially in the health arena. Until they can nail down a theory like E=MCC, then they should just keep trying. This entanglement theory is not new, and its benefit is mostly in its ability to encrypt information and protect it from hacking.

    They also have those experiments where one photon is sent but two are received. Is light a wave or a particle? Questions like this need to be answered before we extrapolate on primitive tests.

      It's now gone way beyond that and several experiments have confirmed what Einstein called spooky forces.
      In other words entanglement is now mainstream science.

      I gave you the results of the current findings, and they are skimpy at best. The BBT is also mainstream but it is still only a theory. BTW, Where is the Photon in the M of E=MCC? They have cloned a photon to another photon. We are not photon

    Perhaps it's our perspective Mr. Oztinato.  A ruler is 12 inches from end to end.  In my mind I can visualize a ruler. What is the distance of "that" concept but nil. Perhaps reality at certain levels is the same.

    The experiments need to be replicated and more thoroughly studied before we can absolutely say so.

      Fundamental reality, hypothetical O/1 dimensional : there may not be distance and all the time in the world to do it. Same as concepts.  The Q is resolved

      Its pretty simple. 1. QE was never in doubt. 2. The impossible is not possible. 3. The assumption of distance is false. The finish line is 2 miles. The limit is 1 minute. You are 60 mph @ midway elapsed time 1 minute. How fast ya gotta go? Times up.

    The simple explanation is that photons CAN be two places at once.

    The more complex explanation is that entangled pairs of photons share certain measurable characteristics in such a way that changes in those characteristics are instantaneously shared without having to travel the space-time distance between them.

    Either way, it does not appear to violate the current existing rules regarding the speed of light with respect to space-time.

      Then it could be a time warp again?
      I can see that quantum particles behave differently but when they are placed apart in the external universe at large (say on earth the other on the moon) it does seem strange or spooky as Einstein said.

      Key to the understanding is that we live in more than the four dimensions.  Best recall is that we're in eleven.  And yeah, spooky is a good word for it.

      Isn't that just the concoction of scientists that are trying to use string theory. They mathematically created the other dimensions to that string theory could progress. There is no validation that I know of to verify these other dimnesions

      Many phenomena are predicted first by math and then experiments are conducted to verify the theory.
      It's just that these days the maths is evolving rapidly in unexpected ways.
