Why do so many people not care about what trump says.

I was always taught that your words go along with your actions. Why is it so many people don't seem to care what trump says? Isn't it part of who he is. Or does it not apply to politics?

Actions speak louder than words is what I was taught. I think is actions are loud and clear.

What about a man's word is his bond. Yes, but isn't it your words and course of actions that lead you to what you do? I can't believe people already want to give him credit for things he hasn't even done yet. I am so glad I live in Canada. Thank you for answering.

So you feel the same about Hillary?Credit for things he hasn't done? The only people doing that r the left saying he is a traitor, conspired w/Russia,he urinated on prostitutes, etc.Their words are deplorable."Word"means promise in your phrase.

I am not taking sides. I am curious because in live statements he has given himself, should tell people everything. I heard people say they don't care what he said. That doesn't make sense to me.

Maybe you should try and get Hillary elected in Canada?

Hillary is too conservative for us Canadians wink

And we all know Trump didn't urinate on prostitutes, he just watched them urinate on each other!

(before you get too mad I'm just kidding)

Don't bring up Hillary. This has nothing to do with her.

It's sort of like saying "yeah my spouse is emotionally abusive but he doesn't hit me so it's fine!"

Words can be just as damaging as actions.

No it isn't. The point is the Trump has already done actions, and the actions should be judged. Not words like rumors, or I wonder what he is going to, He has already done things.

No one is talking about other people's words, but the ones he has said himself. You guys elected him based on his words ("this is what I'm going to do") so it seems strange you wanna just write them off

I am talking about his words, and now many of the words have become deeds or are in the process of becoming deeds. My point is for people to move on to these deeds. And he isn't even in the WH yet. So I don't get it, what words?

"I was always taught that your words go along with your actions."

Who told you that? Because that is a total lie. As  a matter of fact liars words never go along with their actions. You need to stop listening to whatever people taught you and think for yourself.

"Why is it so many people don't seem to care what trump says?"

I wonder why you even say such a thing because I've listened to everything he says and what I hear is Make America Great again, enforce our immigration laws, destroy ISIS, investigate Hillary's crimes, repeal and replace Obamacare, cut taxes, refusing to take vacations, rejecting the narratives of the elites, and having the country say "Merry Christmas", temporarily ban Muslims from entering the United States until we can figure out how to keep us safe, bring manufacturing (jobs) back,  renegotiate the Iran deal, leave Social Security alone.

Did you not hear these things he has said recently or is all you know he said locker room talk from ten years ago?

You see people in America do care about what Trump says, I;m not surprised that people like you in Canada don't even know what he says.

"Isn't it part of who he is. Or does it not apply to politics?"

Could be, depends on what you are hearing and when it was said. People change, so does what they say. Everything can apply to politics but it's application depends on what it has to do with politics and/or policies. I don't know what you think Trump says but if it has nothing to do with politics why would you think it should?

And what a person says is not his bond to anyone or anything. It's simply what he says.

"A man's word is his bond" is a phrase that refers to promises. A man's word refers to his promise, not anything that he says. That wouldn't even make sense, that anything one says is a bond?

Seems to me Terrie you are all confused.

Why are so many foreigners involved in the US. When I went to CANADA to install a computer system in Toronto. I have to get a Canadian SS#, and my company had to pay me from its Canadian subsidiary. I was also taunted because I was an American.

I don't know about that Brad but they do show extreme ignorance about our country whenever they share their 2 cents (worth even less in American coin) on HP.Guess that's why so many celebs say they will move there, ignorance loves company.

No, I am not confused, it was a question.  And I was raised to believe that your word I'd just as important as what you do. It's about morales. The two go together. Of course it wouldn't be that way with a liar.  And I have nothing against american's

I blame the MSM as they act like the old west. Some guy getting everyone boozed up, to start a necktie party. No judge, no jury, no facts, no witnesses, but they claim that is justice. Hung the wrong guy, oops it was the booze. lol

Honestly I do think we have a hard time understanding the conservativeness of the US, but it's not just us foreigners who think it's a bit loopy. Plenty of born & bred Americans have the same thoughts and I don't believe that makes them less Amer

Aime, I agree with you. I hate no one. My own sister is American. But why do people assume I am for Hillary, just because I asked this question?

He has a history of pacing and leading, even in his 20 year old business books. Start at the extreme, scare them or silence the fringes with the statement, walk it back to a moderate position that is still past what they'd otherwise settle in a negotiation, and they take your 70% versus equal 50% because you started at 90%.
