   So far I don't see anything that will change whatever it is today. As long as they are tethered to the democrats and their freebies they will vote democrat and the cycle continues forever.
   
   The only possible chance for a better future is for the blacks to be independent voters and not continue tradition. The voting process should be one of intelligence rather than loyalty.
   
   The Jews in America were the most discriminate group in the country, but they made themselves infused into professions, like lawyers, doctors, politicians. And in doing so they had the wealth to change their future.
   
   Asian have integrated themselves into the US by being well educated and working in high technology from assemblers all the way up to top management.
   
   They didn't demand preference even when it took the United States Govt 70 years to atone for their discrimination against them during WWII.
   
   The Blacks on the other hand haven't changed their game plan from You Owe Us. Give us, or we protest and riot.
   
   They don't follow the lead of successful blacks, maybe because they aren't good at sports or music.
   
   They don't do well in school, it is not a ? of intelligence but it doesn't seem important to them. That leaves them going into gangs, prisons and jails or the military.

      As a Black woman totally agree w/you.  For example, my MATERNAL family(Black Americans) are a continual mess GENERATIONS later.  Most are socioeconomic poor parasites who REFUSE to help themselves. They are a PATHOLOGY in themselves.

      Thanks, I believe that the democrats have indentured the blacks. I think that they would be better off being independents, and make both parties fight to get their vote. Just my opinion.

      BradmasterOCcal, Successful people are always in low percentages of any race. The point I was making is the media rarely acknowledges a black middleclass/rich people exist beyond celebrities/sports!

      Whites make up 63 percent of the U.S.; Hispanics, 17 percent; blacks, (only 12.3 percent); Asians, 5 percent; and multiracial Americans, 2.4 percent. The U.S. may become a minority majority nation but it will be a combination of races added up.

   I believe blacks will continue to rise economically.
   Naturally just as with other races the vast majority will not be in the top 1% but there will continue to be more blacks entering into the middle class and upper middle class ranks.
   Naturally what is portrayed in the media doesn't reflect that.
   The CEOs of American Express, Xerox (black woman), Merck & Pharmaceutical Company are black. John W. Thompson who is black and the Chairman of the Board of Microsoft. The president of Sam's Club is a black woman. The list goes on.
   Just recently we had a black U.S. president & Attorney General
   Robert Frederick Smith the founder, chairman and CEO of Vista Equity Partners, a private equity firm with over $26 billion in assets as of September 2016. Smith was ranked by Forbes in 2016 as the (274th richest person) in America.
   There are numerous black doctors, dentists, lawyers, real estate investors, teachers, politicians, entertainers, athletes, judges, entrepreneurs, engineers and so on. Mainstream media doesn't put a lot of focus on successful blacks.
   If the movie "Hidden Figures" hadn't come out most Americans would have never known about the black women helping put astronauts into space. Shonda Rhimes TV producer owns Thursday night on ABC-TV with her shows "Grey's Anatomy", "Scandal", "How to Getaway With Murder" and "The Catch".
   In 2013 there were over 35,000 black multi-millionaires in the U.S. There is no reason to believe those numbers won't climb.

   Ultimately, the future will be what they make it.  Blacks have more opportunities today than ever before, but many reject those opportunities, then blame the results on racism.  Here is a very disturbing but enlightening video:

   I need to add that the internet, due to it providing anonymity, is proliferating in hate sites.  Some, like Reddit, have sub-communities that are quite graphic, portraying videos of black-on-black murder.  Here is a link to an article describing it:

   I have had very little experience with racism.  The reason is because I don't conduct myself like the people whites fear.  I also live a responsible lifestyle, so I don't get trapped into the hell holes these communities describe.  The more blacks decide to do this, the brighter their future as a whole will be.
   Either way, ultimately it's up to the individual.
