   What are we to do about the 2017 Obamacare healthcare tax hike? New 50% to 75% increases are common!
   
   Many employees making under $100k per year are CANCELLING American healthcare insurance. The average family's monthly cost in 2017 is $800 to $1,200 per month plus high deductibles and much higher copays such as $60 to $120 just to visit doctor. The govt planned the insurance price ceiling "thaw" in 2017 to happen just after Obama left office... Estimate is that over 25 million workers have dropped healthcare since April 2017. People are choosing cheaper tax penalty. Then, if major health event occurs, they buy in at that time with 30% penalty. Many USA employers are RECOMMENDING the drop out!

   You are right- my healthcare insurance went up almost 60% last month.
   
   I heard that many employees have indeed cancelled healthcare and plan to simply pay tax penalty.
   
   Unfortunately it may take some time for the new administration to properly address this situation.
   
   I do not see a clear and safe way forward right now. Either fit in working society and pay the huge price, or go without and use indigent care county facilities for major issues, or leave the country.

      Thank you for the feedback. It appears many do not realize this sweeping change occurred in 2017 insurance firms now quote weekly pricing. This trick works!

   Bureaucracies in the Obama Administration have thus far published approximately 11,588,500 words of final Obamacare regulations, while there are only 381,517 words in the Obamacare law itself.
   
   That means unelected federal officials have now written 30 words of regulations for each word in the law.
   
   What is commonly known as the Obamacare law includes both the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA) and the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act (HCERA). Since these bills were signed into law by President Barack Obama in March 2010, various agencies in the administration have published 109 final regulations spelling out how they are to be implemented.
   
   These 109 final regulations account for a combined 10,535 pages in the Federal Register, where the government officially published them.
   
   The Federal Register presents the regulations in relatively small type with three columns of text on each page. CNSNews.com calculated that there is an average of 1,100 words on each of these pages by counting the actual words in one 78-page Obamacare regulation and then dividing by 78.

"And do you really expect the court to do that?"
   
   Chief Justice John Roberts said only that he had "looked through" the entire law.
   
   That no justice seemed eager to delve into the whole thing might have serious consequences on the issue of what is called "severability" -- that is, whether part of the law, in this case the individual mandate, can be declared unconstitutional and struck down, while the remainder stays in effect. It's just not clear what those consequences might be.

   Obama "care" has proven to be disastrous to say the least.  However, Liberals are still touting the "wonders" of Obama"care" as we speak.  They contend that America needs a universal healthcare system which I vehemently disagree with.  I have reiterated many times that the American healthcare system was fine as it is.  We Americans don't need the government managing our healthcare.  I have never seen anyone refused healthcare because they couldn't pay.
   
   Obama"care" is going to bankrupt America if it continues to remain.  We are taxed enough & it is undemocratic to mandate that someone take health insurance.   Obama"care" is a racket & smart people realize this.  It is the delusional Liberals who believe the nonsensical hype regarding universal healthcare.  WE DON'T NEED ANY STINKING UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE.  LEAVE HEALTHCARE to the....INDIVIDUAL, THANK YOU.
