   No, because rich white men continue to hold the majority of the power in the world.
   
   However, I do think, more than ever, people are starting to wake up, and realize that old, rich white guys may not speak for all of us.
   
   I also think that, more than ever, a more diverse field of candidates is rising up. Candidates like Randy Bryce and Amy McGrath are running ads that are very different than the incumbents they're running against, and they're getting a lot of attention. Emily's List is actively recruiting and training women who want to run for office.
   
   At a certain point, you have to figure that the candidates running for office should be reflective of the Americans they're representing. That means more women, and more people of color, should be running for office. And maybe, that our Presidents will no longer, by default, be old, rich white guys.

   I have to say this is an odd question. No it is not the end of white male presidents. I very much doubt that you will see a black man in office for a very long time. President Obama  left this country in such trouble, actually on the brink of a nuclear war...   He just could not handle running a country. However, it has nothing to do with his race.... But it may influence some in regards to voting for another black president.He could talk the talk, and that was about it. I would think he received an A in speech , but an E in Civics and political science.

      TOTALLY AGREE, OBAMA WAS THE WORST PRESIDENT.  He wasn't PRESIDENTIAL MATERIAL.

      Your expression is a common racist sentiment. Obama was no different than any who came before.  A president is like a McDonalds manager. Any changes to the menu must be first approved by the home office. It is the shadow gov. that shapes policy.

   Odd question. No, "this" (whatever "this" is) is not the end of white male Presidents. Hopefully, however, it is nearly the end of identity politics, which would compel one to be overly focused on race. Democratic losses in 2016 and their new slogan suggest they could be moving away from identity politics.

      It's not the end of Black presidents-it may be the end of the far right (up in smoke with the rest of us). There is the mounting minority middle class (the people the far right want to  deny further access to power). That group is not going away.

      Tim, exit polling shows that middle class voters preferred Trump over Clinton. I can't find a breakdown of middle class voters by ethnicity, but Trump outperformed Romney with all minority groups.
