Why did Donna Brazile do it?

I cannot fully fathom the reasoning behind this ‘confessionary’ book, nor its timing, perhaps there are those in the DNC attempting to put a dagger into the heart of Clinton’s continued aspirations and seemingly never-ending presence in national politics.

Brazile, as Wikileaked DNC emails would show, passed Democratic primary-debate questions, obtained through her position as a CNN political analyst, to Clinton. When this became known, Brazile with stoic resolve took the fall, denied, and then defended her actions  So why is she turning on Clinton now and for whom?

Guilty conscience? She's clearing the way for her own political aspirations?
I have no answers, just more questions.

Most people who turn on a Clinton end up dead in a park with a derringer.

Isn’t this like asking Deep Throat why he turned on Nixon? Just maybe this was in response to Clinton’s book and views on why she didn’t win. Also, just look at the backlash the DNC took by the people they disenfranchised. Also, there is this thing in journalism where journalists want to publish a book an anything (just look around at all the books by journalists.) A book somehow can give them more credibility. Also, what they did was wrong. A party named Democrat subverting the democratic process. Why does it matter in the big picture how we found out? Isn’t it better to let the people know just what kind of politician Clinton is before she tries to run again? Just maybe the DNC could find someone better with some integrity? Na

It really makes one wonder how so much can be brought out into the open, so many laws broken, yet not one charge sticks, or in this case no charges are brought at all.

Because she didn't win, and have bigger fish to fry,

I am guessing that Brazile has political aspirations. Getting rid of Clinton is a good idea on any level, and I think the Dems are sick of her. As an aside, if I were going to write a book, I would want to have something eye-opening in it. I think she accomplished  that, if nothing else.

I was thinking it was competitive forces within the DNC, but I'm not sure who, someone in the wings we don't know of, or perhaps Elizabeth Warren clearing out the competition?

Sending a message to the Clinton Syndicate to Stand Down and quietly go-away (or we'll destroy you) - the moneylenders who run the Party in the shadows are done with her and her - she's toxic - she's a two time loser and they can see that unless they change, Trump will easily win another term 9especially since he's killing it with the economy and unemployment is at its lowest in 17 years) - I think Donna Brazile did the deed, but she didn't give the order

Unfortunately, the people only know what the press tells them and the press (for the most part) loves her. They have 3 yrs to muddy Trump (just look at GHW Bush). Maybe this is step one in the process for the Dems to clean house?

    1. To try to get the Clintons out of the Democrat Party in an effort to save the Party before the 2018 elections.
    2. To distance herself from Clinton's crimes by having a tell-all book in the hope she cannot be implicated in the DNC's many needed investigations (Seth Rich murder, DNC hack due to poor security, stealing the Democrat primary).
