Hey Guys!  I was just wondering if anyone has a clue to who is the most prolific writer here on HP? I'm talking sheer volume, as in who has the most published hubs on the platform.  I'm familiar with Patty Inglish, and I know that she has close to 2,200 hubs, I'm just wondering if anyone tops her, anyone know?

Good question. I'll be interested to hear. I'm a slacker also, so really impressed with Patty Inglish and anyone batting 1,000.

Just found Patty Inglish, those are some awesome accolades.

I don't think so.  Several writers here have 1000 or more, but 2200 is hard to top, even though Patty has been here a long time.  I, too, find her work to be outstanding.  Any newbie that wants to know what a really stellar hub looks like should take a look at hers!

Just as interesting to know would be the biggest number of page views.  I know that a few here have topped 10 million and there is one, if I'm remembering correctly, whose hub went viral a year or so ago and got 10 million views...on ONE HUB!  Now that is something every writer here dreams about, and you never know...it could happen to you!

Wow!  Good for her.  Her work is stellar, so 2200 is fabulous.  I have 130 and I thought that was a lot, lol.  I wonder how she keeps them all updated.

Slacker that I am, my peak was 90+ at one time. I know a couple folks that are a 1000+, but I think you've already found the winner. Then again, who knows? smile

LOL! You're not a slacker! I'm sure the people who have written thousands of hubs have put in super human effort... wink Thanks for chiming in!

Yes, HP and I have had some scraps during the last year. However, at the moment, we are once again BFF.

I was thinking Patty Inglish, too. Not only does she have quantity--  she is very high quality. Also known for her very kind and helpful interactions and replies.  I know of a few other long-timers, but can't think of anyone who has that many hubs

Patty English is probably the best hubber of all time, her Hubpages and beyond resume is stunning.

People on here could only dream to get a quarter of the accomplishments she has achieved. She's the Jeff Bezos of the Hubpages network.

    I'm curious..

Who is Patty Inglish, apart from a very successful writer at Hubpates? She has so many qualificaitons and accomplishments that you would think these are easy to check or find more information about her.. But it's impossible. The only thing about her on the web is hubpages.

Absolutely none of the places she has worked or the positions she has held has a name attached to it - not even linkedin - which is unsual.

Someone who is a 9th Dan in 5 martial arts should have something written about her in recognized news outlets. I find absolutely nothing written anywhere.

    Just curious.

That's what some people think about Shakespeare's work...that he was not just one person but several who produced such magnificent writing.  However, I don't believe it of him and I don't believe it of her.  Each person writes a particular way, and her writing style is so specific and accurate that I fail to see how any group of people could be doing it.  She is so far above the rest of us in terms of quality and quantity that I find her simply amazing.

  6. Rochelle Frank profile image90

I know of one photo of her but I think she is a private person so I won't share.
Orrrr.... she could be more than one person... a group which, between them have all of those abilities and interests.

Oh yes, Rochelle, perhaps a group of writers, that's certainly something to think about.

Rochelle, being a private person and maintaining a presence on the internet are not consistent. It would be easy to post articles without listing any of that information on the profile page.

That was somewhat tongue-in-cheek--- but it is a bit boggling to think that one person could have that many hubs, never mind the credentials. Certainly only an extraordinary individual who is much appreciated.

  7. TessSchlesinger profile image61

I don't think it is either a pseudonym or a group of writers. Well, it is, It is very strange to have the same list of credentials on linked in.

  8. TessSchlesinger profile image61
    TessSchlesingerposted 6 years ago

I don't think it is either a pseudonym or a group of writers. Well, it is, It is very strange to have the same list of credentials on linked in. That would not be well accepted on linked in to have all these achievements and awards for a person who doesn't exist. Also I can find no such thing as a US representative for the African Sports federation. And some organisations don't appear to exist.  I have gone through the list rather thoroughly because I am curious that someone who has accomplished so much is not mentioned by anyone else.

I suppose it could be an alias name, but why is everything on linkedin, then. One doesn't put an alias name on linked in.

Patty's got a Twitter account with 7,600 tweets and 931 followers.

Edit: And there are several references to her plus a fuzzy photo at Nigerian TKD Foundation 75.

Yes. Fuzzy. Like I said. Nothing that can be pinned down.. In any event, I was just curious. I started searching because I was trying to find motivation to get fit and learn a martial art. But not a video or photo in sight.

So I guess I will just let her be private...

        Thanks!

At one time, she had a blog about crochet and was writing for About.com. About.com has since divided up their site like Hubpages has. At least I think this is the same Patty Inglish. Maybe it isn't.

Hey ya'll! I found at least one Hubber who's got Patty beat, his name is Hal Licino:

    https://hubpages.com/@hallicino

He has nearly 2500 articles, and he's writes quality stuff.  There's probably some others out there who we'll never know about, because they stay under the radar either on purpose, or because they're too busy writing!

    1. DrMark1961 profile image96
DrMark1961posted 6 years agoin reply to this

You did notice that only about 30 of his hubs are still featured? That is not really a sign of quality. Many years ago there were people that would just post a lot of images and a brief hub in order to get more published. It may have worked back then, but that is also probably why Google looked so negatively at HP back in those days.
Take a look at the hubs on Patty Inglishs profile and compare them to this persons. I think there is a good reason that his hubs are not moved to niche sites.

Actually, he wrote a farewell hub in 2011. Only a few hubs are visible— lack of traffic ?

  12. Chriswillman90 profile image91
    Chriswillman90posted 6 years ago

The fact that Patty has over 10 million views is amazing to me, that's more impressive than the number of hubs.

I mean seriously how many writers here have hit that mark: 5...10...20? It must be a very small amount that took years of hard work and marketing talent.

Am so happy for Patty. Her hubs are worth reading as well so she is not just a hub factory. She is on top responding to comments and reading other hubs. Kudos to her.
